The Universe is inconceivably vast. And there are countless trillions of inhabited planets right here in our own galaxy. And yet the only extraterrestrials who ever visit Earth are those ugly little grey humanoids with the big, creepy eyes. Where are the cephalopods, the arachnids, and the beings composed of pure energy? Certainly they are all aware of us by now, because we have been beaming radio and TV signals into deep space for more than 100 years.
And yet the only aliens who ever drop by to say Hello are those spindly, physically inferior little creeps whose only reason for contact is to kidnap and sexually molest us under the guise of scientific research. If they actually do exist and are not a popular delusion, then I think we ought to really despise them.

Terrible show that deliberately either lies or stretches the truth to fit their narrative half of the time. It is just trash TV.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but perhaps you should start a personal blog and post there for topics such as this, mate, since I have a difficult time relating how this belongs on a politically-conservative site dedicated to historical American values.
Just a thought.

Yes. Mostly it is silly but they do tend to show some lesser know artifacts and archaeological places on the show.

It’s unlikely that a detectable signal from Earth has penetrated into space much further than about 0.6c-yr. That’s not “deep space.”

The History Channel is also a big joke that has very little to do with history. They use the slogan “History Made Everyday” to justify their lame programming. An idea: make a video of myself clipping my toenails and sell it to them on that premise.

FR has a much cooler audience. The people who read and/or post here are far more intelligent than the average FaceBook or Twitter morons. And FR doesn’t allow posters to get into simple-minded, cuss-out flame wars, like some sites do. That kind of crap gets boring in a hurry.

Certainly they are all aware of us by now, because we have been beaming radio and TV signals into deep space for more than 100 yearsactually, that stuff is so diffused as to be virtually impossible to make sense of before it even gets to the next star system.

Yes and they are totally wrong, the ancient aliens are not actually “aliens” but previous versions of humans that survived previous catastrophes and visited / re-awoke to share some wisdom to jump start humanity.
Because cryogenics and interplanetary flight are both far more feasible than interstellar flight.
