According to Professor Cody Pogue, the riots occurring in Baltimore are, in part, due to white privilege. Pogue teaches at Houston Community College and San Jacinto College.
Today Pogue wrote an article titled, “The Baltimore riots within the context of White Privilege.”
His article begins, “I do not approve of the riots in Baltimore. At the same time, I do not understand what else we expect them to do. Numerous studies have proven that, in America today, white people are more privileged than black people.”
Pogue then writes about “white privilege,” saying that, “White people nearly always get the benefit of the doubt, but black people rarely ever do. White people are considered hard working until they prove themselves to be lazy, but black people are considered lazy until they prove to be hard working.”
He continues on about white privilege for several more paragraphs. He concludes this sentiment, writing, “In America, we subject an entire race of people to this unfair treatment” and then “we send white police officers into their communities who often expect them to be criminals in the first place. Then those white police officers mistreat them and often wrongfully kill them. Then we expect them to smile and take it.”
...“Don’t get me wrong,” Pogue pleads, “I am not making excuses for people who commit crimes… But instead of directing all of our anger to these desperate people who feel that they have no other choice, why don’t we direct our anger toward a system that has made them this desperate? Why don’t we direct our energy to bringing about change? Why don’t we end the system of privilege that advantages white people over black people every day?”

No one, including POTUS, approves of the riots in Baltimore. So why are they happening? Surely SOMEONE(s) is approving of the rioting besides the rioters, or the riots would have been stopped before they started, or very soon afterward.
I am tired of dissembling and mendacity. There are numerous people in positions of authority who WANT these riots to happen, seeing them as something akin to the storming of the Bastille, without realizing that they are more akin to the Goths in 5th century Rome, or to Benghazi.
Is “white privilege” the reason they’re like they are in most of Africa, Haiti, and most other places around the world?
Is it whitey’s fault they haven’t succeeded in those areas either?
Excuses are for losers.
The "professor" can kiss my shiny white hiney. It's called "experience". And yes, sometimes it is wrong. Such is life. Get over it and enjoy your own self made "privilege".

Cody Pogue is the reason for the riots.
Cops are going to be afraid to enforce the law regarding black crime. Anyone who doesn’t already have a CC permit really needs to consider that it may no longer be simply an “insurance policy”. It may be almost a requirement if you want to feel safe in public places.

Yep! Blaming the rich did not have the desired effect. So they cane up with another boogieman. This is a little better than the last one. The term, “White Privilege†is like the term “Territorial Imperative†It means what ever the user wants it to mean. Should this fail, they can always go back to blaming White males and legitimate gun owners. Along with Christians.
I wonder what would happen if a nearly all white neighborhood began rioting and threatening police and destroying businesses?
Someone should loot his house, see how he likes it..let’s see, Baltimore, majority black, has a CVS, now destroyed, a Target store, now destroyed..and the list goes on and on, but hey let’s blame white people because some blacks refuse to look in the damn mirror
And of course “White Privilege” extends to anyone who “acts” White.

Preference in university scholarships
Preference in hiring
Preference in promotions
Preference for government contracts
Preference in use of 1 word
Preference in use of victimization
Preference in non-profit spending
Preference in governmental organizations
Preference in segregated groups from K-16 and at work
Preference in political speech in churches
Preference in voting ‘id’ fraud
Preference in legal treatment or lack thereof
Preference in murder investigations
and now...
Preference in handling, funding, and covering for wanton destruction of property, as well as physical attacks on people of other colors.

How about watch the trial and see what happens to the accused officers. So far the justice system is doing what it does. What on earth do they want “whitey” to do? Throw some flat screen TV’s and tennis shoes at them and lynch the cops without a trial?
