Victoria Jackson, a six-year veteran of Saturday Night Live, is publicly wondering if her opposition to gay marriage prompted Lorne Michaels to treat her differently than the other cast members who attended the 40th anniversary of the show Sunday.
Jackson, on her Facebook page, Twitter and in interviews, has mostly raved about Michaels and thanked the creator of SNL numerous times for hiring her in 1986, though she is also saying that she was the only castmember at Sunday's event to be banished to an overflow room.
Some bloggers noted the oddity and were wondering if Michaels or someone else involved with the seating arrangements might have been sending a political message to Jackson, who is a Christian conservative, a Tea Party favorite and an extremely vocal critic of President Barack Obama.
While Jackson herself has been downplaying politics, she did speculate on a radio show Tuesday that her views about homosexuality might have played a role.
"I was the only castmember put in the overflow room," Jackson told radio host Rusty Humphries. She said cast SNL alum Robert Smigel also noted that she was the only castmember in the lesser room....

Was Dan Ackroyd there? I didn’t see him.
If Rusty is back on radio then it is not with TRN1 as his site was finally closed at TRN. He left sometime between 2011 and 2012 when he was taken off air for saying stuff about the company they didn’t want to hear.
Now he works with the Washington Times. I think the Jackson interview might have been for his podcast area at the Times. Also he started a Tea Party group to fund candidates.
Yeah it was thru The Washington Times where he does a podcast only show now.

Rolling Stone dumped all over her too. They recently did a ranking of all 141 cast members the show has had, and ripped her a new one as they ranked her 138th.
Not surprisingly, they ranked Tina Fey very highly - 3rd over all, ahead of Phil Hartman, Bill Murray, Dana Carvey, Akroyd, etc. What a crock.
So cool!! Dennis seems like he is almost too smart for his own mouth, like his body can’t keep up with his mind. It must have been the best Internship.
Yes, he was. He did a live Bass o matic commercial. He has not lost it. I always adored him. He came in with Jim belushi and they apparently tour the country doing blues brothers concerts.
I always had the hots for the clever straight men on SNL. Ackroyd, the guy whose wife killed him, the other chronicles of narnia guy who fell off the face of the earth after snl, and latest was Bill Hader. Swoon.
I was a Phil Hartman fan!
I’m glad to hear Dan was there. I was worried perhaps his weight might have kept him at home.
Maybe I can find it on YouTube.
Dont know. Didnt watch it.
If Sarah Palin is a “token conservative” we need to order 1,000 more. She endorsed 22 candidates last year and 20 won.
I was about to ask about Norm. If he was on it I’ll watch.
Miller went through a shift post 9-11. I don’t know how close he was to it, but that’s when he changed.
Dennis only leans one way libtard-wise which is fag marriage which is “OK” for him. Other than that, he’s Freeper material: placing US bases along the border, dismantling the IRS etc. , nuking the entire Middle east lol. Never thought I enjoyed getting paid for nothing until I got to work for Ferguson and Drew Carey, which was a party everyday. Ferguson is more American than Brit...
It’s the Rush Effect. When you are one of the few conservatives in the media, you have an almost endless supply of fresh material because no one is saying what you are saying.
There are so many liberals, they step all over each other.
Or “The girl is mine” with Michael Jackson “The gosh darn girl is mine...Oh Paul I’m a lover not a fighter” Paul McCartney is so overrated it borders on psychosis, it really does. I think the last good song he put out was Live and Let die which was 1973. So we’re talking 42 years he’s done nothing but put out one piece of crap after another. Imagine a business that produced substandard products for 42 years, how the hell could that business survive? Yet people constantly give this a-hole one award after another while he harangues the masses about “Eating veggie” He’s just one big lib liberals try to legitimize with awards when the fact is he’s a OK musician who can’t write songs for sh*t unless a guy named John Lennon was helping him.
Probably a democrat, but at least he's got one thing going for him.
I never got into the show either -- never even found it that funny. But I figured I just wasn't hip enough to grasp the essence. Sort of like the Emperor's New Clothes.
