".......For decades now, America's higher education system has poorly served Americans. If you can weld, you can land a job making six-figures tomorrow. If you recently acquired a B.A. in sociology, well, can you tell me how you do that thing where you make the foam on top a latte look like a heart? There's a reason why the lack of a college degree is practically celebrated in Silicon Valley. Mark Zuckerberg,Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are all college dropouts. Peter Thiel says a college "diploma is a dunce hat in disguise" and wants to blow the higher-ed system up entirely. Sixty-three of the people on the Forbes400 don't have college degree.
Pointing all this out is not to devalue education. I,for one,am glad Howard Dean went to medical school before becoming a doctor. But most liberal arts degrees are overrated as a precondition for success and they are indisputably overpriced--hence the current student loan crisis. In the Internet era, here are many, many new ways to become educated. This sudden suspicion of Scott Walker seems a product of the fact that higher education is a world that liberals control utterly, and the entire economic model supporting it is on the verge of collapse. If the American people start to get hip to the idea that people such as Mark Zuckerberg and, yes,Scott Walker can succeed without a degree, well, that's one less power base for liberalsand a lot more independently educated voters who are going to think for themselves.
As he runs for president, I hope that Democrats lodge this criticism of Walker loudly and often. It's high time we had a robust public debate on the value of a college degree, and whether or not subsidizing the ivory tower is worth it. And I suspect that Scott Walker would emerge from such a national conversation looking like a very good candidate indeed.

So, I guess “visiting all 57 states”, “it takes special training to be a Navy corpesman”, “I can’t speak Austrian well”, and “it’s great being here in Asia” when he just landed in Hawaii. I guess these are all distinguishing characteristics of Harvard, with a minor in Community coke.
College education used to represent problem solving, and understanding your predicament.
Today's college eduction indicates : "CONFORMITY to liberal views"
Give me a man, or woman who has real work expierience who can solve everyday problems, had faced problems , and overcome them,
over someone who has an 'Ivy League' college background , with no real work expierience.
Our current administration has the 'Ivy League' training , with no real work expierience, no background in problem solving,
but still thinks they 'know it all' from professors who never worked in the real world.
That's what got us in the condition where we are now ,- no real work expierience , no problem solving, just arrogant elitist liberal philosophy .
The liberals have a point here. After all look at how not having a college degree hurt Bill Gates.
Here’s the phrase that everyone should use when libs bring up the subject...”liberal diploma fetish”. This will backfire on libs just like ridiculing Joni Ernst’s hog castrating backfired.
Barack Hussein Obama college degree from Columbia and Harvard
George W. Bush college degrees
Bill Clinton college degree Rhodes Scholar
George H. W, Bush college degree
Ronald Reagan degree?
Jimmy Carter college degree
Gerald Ford college degree
Richard Nixon college degree
L B. Johnson college degree
John F. Kennedy college degree
what have the college degrees helped these gentleman do for America. Ronald reagan was an exceptional president, and former California Governor. So Scott walker went to college but did not finish, tough, but what good has he done for Wisconsin - a lot more than current occupant in the White House has done for America
I dropped out of college and ended up getting a degree at a tech school. I still make 6 figures. The idea that one must have a degree from the best school is a farce that just gets kids to take on tons of unnecessary debt. If someone manages to make it without a degree at all then I say power to them. The proof is in the pudding. I personally take offense at the elitism that asserts that knowledge is only verifiable via a piece of paper. If one can read then one can learn.
But believe illegal aliens should be allowed to vote.
Obama supposedly did but sealed all his records so we don’t actually know if he did. That, and since most presidents have been disasters and did go to college, let’s try one that didn’t get into liberal indoctrination programs like college.
We don’t actually have incontrovertible proof that he’s even alive.
The birth certs we’ve seen have been contradictory.
Joe Biden has a college degree. Case closed.
Cause all the Harvard, Yale, and Princeton grads have done a SUPER job running the country.
Hell, I have two degrees and it wouldn’t bother me in the least if we elected a non-college grad.
I can hear it now - “Obama’s not running”, and they won’t even acknowledge their hypocrisy.
Liberals only hold to one value, and the rest be damned.
Advance their agenda and their power.
...that’s a good one for my book “You Might Be a Liberal” -
In fact, a college degree ends ups reinforcing conformity. Not have a college degree forces an entrepreneur to "think out of the box" and create something that really can change the world. It's very rare we have someone like Elon Musk, who has an advanced business degree yet created companies that are on the verge of really changing the world.
Well then, if education is so important to the libs they should have no problem supporting Ted Cruz, eh?
Did Obama finish college?
All the folks who have destroyed our health care system, the economy, our military, and our foreign policy over the past six years, have all had degrees.
So far I don’t see a college degree as a career enhancer.
