Heavier women are more likely to be lighter in the wallet, reports a new study that says obese females tend to occupy lower-paying, more-strenuous jobs in less-visible corners of the U.S. workforce when compared to average-sized women and men.
In fact, the link between extra pounds and leaner paychecks is distinct: When a woman “becomes overweight,” she already is less likely to land a public-facing role in better-paying white-collar jobs, according to research released Tuesday by Vanderbilt University.
And women who are considered obese or morbidly obese — based on their body mass indexes — are more likely to forced into some of the cheapest-paying, most labor-intensive roles in industries such as home health, food prep and child care, said Jennifer Shinall, the study's author and an assistant professor of law at Vanderbilt Law School....

I’ve never heard of Williams and Ree. Those guys are too funny and too politically incorrect for most venues. I looked them up. Ironically they play mostly to American Indian crowds.
They’re old friends of mine. Still going strong and HUGE in Indian casinos and throughout the Midwest. If you ever see them playing nearby, GO! Great musicians as well as comedians.
A more recent video, and you’ll love it, during the controversy over a sports team called the “Fighting Sioux.” Terry Ree is Sioux and has no problem with Indian team names. There’s some mildly rough showroom comedians’ language ... These guys are the real deal, and always have been!

Well, if you have a low-paying job, you tend to buy unhealthy food because that’s what you can afford or because you’re “stuck” in a depressing job and use food as an escape. Maybe that’s why these women are obese.

My daughter was behind a lady on food stamps. She said she was amazed. Every time this lady put up healthy foods, the cashier told her it was not allowed. My daughter got quite disgusted. Why weren’t the good foods allowed? My daughter said it was the worst thing she had witnessed in a store. I want to know that answer, too.
Take her to a specialist who will run thyroid tests on her.

Also being fat is seen as a character fault, so fat women will be seen as less capable come promotion time.
(Except fat black women who get a pass)
