The Department of Defense will no longer call captured terrorists "unlawful combatants," but will now refer to these people as "unprivileged enemies."
In a joint publication released this month, terrorists captured and detained by the United States will no longer be called "unlawful combatants," which is now apparently an obsolete term.
Instead, a more polically correct term, "unprivileged enemies," has been chosen.
The manual explains, "Belligerent. In general, a person who is engaged in hostilities against the US or its multinational partners during an armed conflict. The term belligerent includes both privileged belligerent and unprivileged enemy belligerent."
It also includes this chart to explain the change:

Good name for a football team. The Washington Unpriveledged Enemies.
Does unprivledged refer to them not having geneva convention rights or does it mean they get obama phones?
Our FERAL Government is a bunch of hand ringing touchy feely pussies
Civilian Internee?? Interesting implications.
How about Enemy and To be released?
The mechanics of them killing you and raping your family have not changed despite how the left labels them.
I prefer “muslim scum”. Though I also like what we used to call the indians during George Washington’s time, Savages.
The Declaration of Independence has a good passage on that. Applies today to our current savages.
No, those are the ones spying for US.
Turned agents of the enemy.
They aren’t paid.
I’m worried about who the ‘civilian internees’ are!
As if they couldn’t get ridiculous enough
What the heck is the diff between a “privileged” and “unprivileged” enemy? Oh I got it - privileged is muzzie. Like the spoiled savages at Gitmo. Unprivileged would be...tea party detainees. Much less privileged than “civilian” detainees - they must be the illegals invading from the south. Makes sense if you think of the US as a huge internment camp.
Just read this to my husband and can’t repeat what he said.
So Obama is a PRIVELEGED enemy.
During Clinton’s administration they changed “THREATCON” to “FP (Force Protection) CON.”
Alinsky said something about controlling the language lets you control the argument.
So does then mean after capturing underprivileged enemies one is supposed to give them a beer and a cookie then send them on their merry way?
Could be a non alcoholic beer if the underprivileged individual is a Muslim. They sell plenty in the Middle East.
Will our troops also be required to feel sorry for them?
