Why is the media reporting that Obama never employed Jonathan Gruber?

While MSM outlets like USA Today report that the administration never employed Jonathan Gruber, Gruber himself disclosed his employment with the Obama Administration as a paid consultant .

There is a small paragraph in today’s USA Today article linked above that “informs” their readership — officials said Gruber was never employed by Obama. Pretty hard to miss that flat out and out LIE (not parsing, from where I’m sitting). And to think it is so easy for the media to fact check. I guess facts aren’t part of USA Today reporting.

Once again USA Today proves it’s nothing more than a transcription publishing service for White House propaganda press releases by not pointing out the falsity of the White House claims.

You know, about how Gruber appeared 17 times in the White House visitor logs on the days he said these issues were discussed, the many video tapes of Congressional leaders, including Pelosi, extolling Gruber’s virtues. Or mentioning articles about Gruber’s role in the health care law, like this NYT article:
