Thug - This is supposed to be "offensive" because Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown were called thugs because they were violent bullies who paid for their poor upbringing with their lives -- and continue to wreak havoc in death. How many pregnant women, the elderly, disabled and children have been savagely attacked for being the wrong color in the wrong place at the wrong time because of these violent, sociopathic thugs?
Urban/Inner City - The former is a word that advertisers and marketers use to describe a certain genre they are targeting; which is mostly black. The latter is where a lot of black people live. Facts are not racist.
State’s Rights - The 10th Amendment stands as a bulwark against Federal intrusion. The States were created to serve as laboratories in which citizens can easily vote with their feet if regulation and taxation are too onerous in one jurisdiction. Having everything run by the Federal government is anti-democratic. But then, so is the Left.
Welfare and Food Stamps - Apparently you're entitled to what someone else has, but not what you have earned. To be so impolite as to point out that someone is a parasite is considered racist today. The War on Poverty has increased poverty and single-parenthood dramatically -- particularly affecting blacks. And when Gingrich observed that Obama was the "food stamp President" he was pointing out that more people -- including many whites -- have found themselves dependent upon the government under Obamanation.
Law and Order - As we have seen in recent history, law-abiding citizens and the police are supposed to let criminals get away with victimizing others -- if the perpetrators are black. If not, let the rioting and looting begin.
Cut Taxes - Too many blacks have been sold the notion that they should trade self-empowerment for the false security of dependency. So the bigger the government is, the better it is and anyone who advocates for lower taxes is by definition a racist. That is why the Hard Left hates the Tea Party Patriots.
And one major hope of Obama and his minions is to impoverish the majority of the American people so they also will be invested in ever-growing government -- and consider freedom to only work for the "rich."
The first time I heard the word “urban” to mean something different from “in the city” was from some liberal educators I happened to be working with. I was confused when one of the schools they were talking about was way beyond the city limits and out in the middle of the corn fields. They explained that an urban school is a minority-
majority school, no matter where it is physically located, and that’s the term they always used. It seemed to me more of a euphemism of the left.

Hey, it’s nothing new! You can’t articulate actually liberal thought, because the meaning of the term “liberal” was inverted in the 1920s. There is no other word for liberal but liberal. So you have to say you’re “conservative” - when what you really want is freedom, and the blessings of liberty, which is progress. Progress of, by, and for the people.
It’s funny that the only ones hearing coded racist messages everywhere are leftists. Either they own secret racist decoder rings, or their minds are pre-occupied with thoughts of racism.

If these words are “codes” for the N-word, then maybe it is the fault of the people being “coded” for.
But they are not racist; people of all races and ethnic groups use food stamps, for example, or live in the inner city, for another. Criminals of all races exist.
It's just that one group has more than the others, proportionally. But that still doesn't make a word for an idea like “inner city youths” a synonym for the “N-word”.
