Students at Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, New Jersey were told this week that they can prevent rape, in part, based on their facial expressions.
According to Cory Rosenkranz, coordinator of Substance Abuse & Violence Prevention, women should watch the way they smile, frown, and blink, among other things. Not doing so will result in increased amounts of rape.
Rosenkranz told attendees that they should stand in front of a mirror to "practice" their "anti-rape" faces. Brandon Molina, a returning peer facilitator said of the presenter, She was saying that women need to watch their body language and that women should practice how they articulate their face [in a social setting] by practicing in the mirror.
The presenter said that facial expressions could invite rape. Attendees voiced concerns with the presentation afterwards, saying that the speech did not talk about practical things to prevent rape. They also said that those in attendance said Rosenkranz phrased her advice in a way that blamed victims of rape for being raped, as opposed to rapists.

My daughter got drugged by the effin bartender! She is uber cognizant of drugged drinks. Fortunately she always has friends around, they semi carried her home. I'd killed that man if I had known about it when it happened. Well, not killed, just crippled him with a baseball bat to the knees.
Get an 0bola tattoo on your forehead.
Here is an example of a 'look' that will stop a rape.
Utterly mindless stupidity.
How about how to use products from Sturm Ruger, Smith&Wesson, Taurus, Kimber ...
Techniques for Permanently Rehabilitating Rapists. There is a lab requirement called range time.
So, if a young woman does not engage in the college-recommended behavior, is she asking for it?
She looks like she hasn’t blinked in days.
Or Not To Blink.
Sounds like Islamic teachings.
This is the most outrageously stupid statement I’ve seen. As Ron White says, “You can’t fix stupid.” Academia seems too have cornered the market on stupidity.

J-frames and wadcutters do wonders to an attacker’s innards.
As J-frame guru Michael deBethencourt once stated, ‘Muzzle inside belt line? Point down!’
Looking carefully at this woman it is hard to determine exactly what her facial gestures are conveying
I’d have to agree this sounds like blaming the victim.
Yep. Drink bottled beer, make sure you see the bottle opened, and if by chance you put it down just forget it and get another one.
If THAT doesn’t call for additional adult beverages tonight.....nothing ever will!!!
I’m so old I can remember when colleges were run by smart people.
As Yoda would say, ‘The stupid is strong with this one’...
