Obama Scrapped CDC Rule Giving Feds Power to Block Ill Travelers 03 Oct 2014 By John Blosser
Four years ago, quietly and without public notice, the Obama administration scrapped quarantine plans from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) which could have blocked travelers with the deadly Ebola virus from entering the U.S.
The Daily Caller reports that the rules, which would have given the federal government quarantine power over sick airline passengers, likely would have stopped Thomas Eric Duncan, a Liberian resident and the first case of Ebola reported in the U.S., from ever setting foot in the country and bringing Ebola with him.
Duncan may have infected up to 100 people before being confined to an isolation ward in a Texas hospital.

Who advocates for US besides Cruz, and Rand?
++++
Trey Gowdy.
To quote Dennis Miller:
“I know laxity is the new coin of the realm but I think it would be best to not treat this virus like a fence jumper at the White House.”
According to the guy sitting next to him on the plane, he was throwing up. I find it hard to believe he had no symptoms prior to boarding if he was throwing up on the plane. Frankly, I don't trust anyone in government or media to be honest. If they told me water was wet, I wouldn't take it for granted.
“.....The rules, first proposed by the CDC under the Bush administration in 2005,....”
Something is missing in this article...like IF the proposed law was ever adopted. Nowhere in the article do I find where it was law, only proposed in 2005.
Guess I’ll go look it up.
Ping.
Pretty impossible to do while the Treason party holds the Senate, but in less than 4 weeks we have the midterm elections which could give them control and it amazes me as I can find no Republican candidates really caring about it. It’s only ummm....THE most important election in this nations history and nobody is talking about it. Am I hallucinating here or something? Is there no election? This is deciding factor whether enemies of the US continue to destroy it or they are STOPPED
It should be common f’ing sense. Leave it to the gov to need a law for it.
Interesting. Where did you find out about his seatmate?
Added, with prayers for the continued health and safety of you and yours.
Bureaucratic rules are not laws passed by Congress. They are supposed to detail how Congress’ intent is to be carried out.
Obama is one evil cold blooded traitor.
Why is that so hard to believe? It has to start sometime. I remember, three decades ago, when I was perfectly fine getting on a plane and threw up in the restroom three hours later.
A homosexual, mooselimb, socialist idiot?
Then the MF’s in the GOP should be all over it.
Instead they keep quiet lest they say something politically incorrect like and lose their seat in DC.
It was upon his ascension into the presidency as his Gay Rights directives allowed people with HIV or Aids to travel from the US to other nations. Obama owns that too.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Almost as if part of a bigger plan...
What is needed to be pointed out and what talk show hosts as well as congress members of both House and Senate aren’t bringing up. Is that heads of US deparments of government are recomended by the president..But they are approved to serve by the Senate in a procedure known as advise and consent. They’re sworn to; serve, uphold ,and protect, the constitution. Not executive branch whims and political policy changes driven by an ideology.
Therefore those approved and their respective departments are answerable to both houses of congress which funds these operations can and should refuse to obey an executive directive if that order works contrary to existing legislation or the interests of the country ..
Obama is killing us, literally.
