Back in October last year Russell Brand made waves by urging people to incite revolution by not voting. He admitted in an interview with Jeremy Paxman that he had never voted, and never intended to, but went on to exhort people not to vote, claiming that democracy needed to be swept away. I have noticed that various unnamed “financial gurus” have been talking down this referendum as being “foolish” because of all the various loose financial ends left by severing ties with England. That attitude 260 years ago wouldn’t have been helpful.

Scotland almost entirely votes for Socialist candidates in Parliament. The SNP is socialist. If Scotland wants to wreck their own country with Socialist rule, that’s fine with me, but let’s not pretend that a “Yes” vote would be good for Scotland.
