It’s funny how the Scottish media seems to favor “Yes” and the British media seems to favor “No”, considering that Scotland leaving the UK is good for the rest of the UK but bad for Scotland.

I have noticed that various unnamed “financial gurus” have been talking down this referendum as being “foolish” because of all the various loose financial ends left by severing ties with England. That attitude 260 years ago wouldn’t have been helpful.

Scotland almost entirely votes for Socialist candidates in Parliament. The SNP is socialist. If Scotland wants to wreck their own country with Socialist rule, that’s fine with me, but let’s not pretend that a “Yes” vote would be good for Scotland.

"How is seceding bad for Scotland?" For starters, they will no longer have other peoples money to spend on their cradle to grave socialist utopia. They will have to spend their own money.

Alex Salmond has claimed on a whistle stop tour of his constituency that 99 per cent of Scotland will be perfectly happy with the outcome of the referendum, whatever it is.
From UK Telegraph
This does not sound like an optimist.
