Kathleen, I think the policing in the black communities should be left to the black community residents. Let the mothers and fathers in these communities police their own. That would eliminate a LOT of confrontation.

True enough, but therein lies the problem. The cops have to deal with feral black kids every single day committing God only knows what kind of violent and anti-social acts. It’s only natural and completely human that at a certain point, opinions would calcify and muscle memory would take over. Remove the wildly criminal behavior of a shockingly small subset of society and, voila, problem solved. The cops wouldn’t feel the need to profile or rush to judgement because they wouldn’t have the template in their heads.
Oh, good grief. The looting and violence isn’t being performed by the MOTHERS worried about their little precious gang banger wannabes. And these MOTHERS aren’t doing a very good job getting little Daryl’s or Lamont’s head straight as far as respecting other people’s property and bodies, now are they? Kathleen, how many of these mothers you are talking about had a husband, the boys father in the home to give them love, support, education, respect, and be the proper role model for a man.....less than 5% I would guess.
OK, Mothers have their fears. Where are the fathers of these boys and other examples of manhood? Boys do stupid things and fathers correct that problem if you know what I mean.
I’ll tell you what this is about, Kath. It’s about the fact that a large-ish percentage of a certain demographic will do not a damn thing to help themselves but ever so occasionally try to act as if they have some self respect by lashing out at whitey.
