VILLA PARK, Ill. Comparing their campaign to the civil rights movement, fast food workers from across the country voted today to escalate their efforts for $15-an-hour pay and union membership to include nonviolent civil disobedience.
More than 1,300 workers gathered in a convention in center in suburban Chicago to discuss the future of a campaign that has spread to dozens of cities in less than two years. Wearing T-shirts that said Fight for $15 and We Are Worth More, the workers cheered loudly and said they would win if they stuck together.
People are just fed up, said Cindy Enriquez, 20, of Phoenix....

and lazy, fatso americans will be terrified by this movement.
Sounds like some of the “newly arrived” WILL be able to find work on their work permits. Heck, they’ll work for $7.15/hr no questions asked. Well at least til laraza tell them the white man is stickin’ it to them.
I suspect in 10 yrs the typical fast food place will have 2 employees per shift, basically to do logistics and sanitation.
If they are fed up, they should quit the job.
They also need a reality check. Fast food hired help in the labor market just isn’t worth what they seek.
They also need another reality check, which is that the jobs in the economy that pay well require schooling, training, college, and/or experience gained in lower level jobs which qualify them for the better jobs.
Bottom line — They can and should seek out other opportunities if they feel under paid and under valued. They should also educate themselves about what it takes to get the better paying jobs they would like to have, and do what it takes to get education and training to fill such jobs.
It is called graduation and moving up. Ever heard of it?
The machines already exist, they just have to be purchased and installed:

You can’t tell me that NO ONE at SEIU knows about this.
Bring the machines in. Layoff60%
Well, anecdotal evidence where I live, is that most fast food workers were not born in this country. I can’t say anything about work permits or legal status. Just observing, that we no longer see big numbers of young American born people in such jobs.
Yes, ever since the jag-off most of you pea brains voted for begin his "fundamental transformation of America."
Many of these individuals probably already have degrees. Alas, they are probably in womyn’s studies, French literature, philosophy and medieval arts & crafts.
There will be at least 3.
The 2 you point out and a third to check your permit to see what Moocher Obama’s food police will allow you to eat.
Let’s run ‘em over a scale. From what I see, I’d bet 8 out of 10 are plenty well “fed” as well. And let’s put all the smartphones on the table and see how they shake out too, and then check the kind of cars in the parking lot.
And then the employees whining why no one is buying food, and the store manager calmly explains the effects of the minimum wage and that they're going to be fired and replaced by robots.
Legal Plunder Has Many Names
Now, legal plunder can be committed in an infinite number of ways. Thus we have an infinite number of plans for organizing it: tariffs, protection, benefits, subsidies, encouragements, progressive taxation, public schools, guaranteed jobs, guaranteed profits, minimum wages, a right to relief, a right to the tools of labor, free credit, and so on, and so on. All these plans as a whole with their common aim of legal plunder constitute socialism.

They can demand whatever they want and it won’t matter, there won’t be enough customers that can afford the product to keep the business open, but hey neither they or the predatory unions goading them have the slightest idea of how business works.
why don’t we do a little civil disobedience until they eject the illegals?
btw... someone should let these morons know that 0bama’s flooding the country with illegals... which will drop the wage they get... IF they can find a job
