U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens wasn’t murdered the night of the Benghazi attacks but died of “smoke inhalation,” according to Daily Beast columnist Eleanor Clift.
Clift made that pronouncement — and a few other eye-popping claims — on Sunday’s The McLaughlin Group, Mediaite noted.
“I would like to point out that Ambassador Stevens was not ‘murdered,’” Clift exclaimed (even adding air quotes for good measure), “he died of smoke inhalation in a safe room in that CIA installation.
Fellow panelists quickly took issue with her statements, including Pat Buchanan, who fired back: “It was a terrorist attack, Eleanor. He was murdered in a terrorist attack.”
Clift dug in her heels, further insisting that Benghazi was an “opportunistic terrorist attack” with an anti-Muslim video as its catalyst. In addition, she noted earlier that the Benghazi issue “animates the right-wing of the Republican party.”

I used to watch McLaughlin just to hear the other panelists tell Eleanor how stupid she was. I had to quit because she made me so mad with her idiotic lies.
If you watch the clip, she is also still blaming the attack on the anti-muslim video. What a delusional witch.

Anything but the truth is correct.
They are just throwing ideas out there. Everyone has their own assumption of what took place and they are throwing these assumptions out their hoping one will stick. If it doesn’t stick, they try something else.
Of course, the ridiculousness of the idea is directly proportional to the batsh*t craziness of the person saying it. So in this case, its pretty ridiculous.

If I light a person’s house on fire, while standing outside with a gun, with the intention to kill whomever leaves the house, but they die in the burning house, does that mean I did not murder them?
Looks like it’s on the link in the article. She is a piece of work. When she goes into argument mode, she talks louder and faster and screeches and if I didn’t know better I’d say her eyes roll back like an attacking shark.
