We all know the top "rated" talk shows but do the ratings reflect your preferences? Are the highest rated necessarily the most talented? (video)

Anyone but Sean Hannity
I agree. I have Steyn in my top as I said in the video. I noticed that his name comes up in many responses and find it amazing that he doesn’t have a nationally syndicated, daily talk show. Is it that he doesn’t -want- one? Tat’s the only way I can see it making sense.
I was listening to Rush daily from 1993 - 2008 but I hardly ever do now - unless Steyn is filling in. It’s not that I don’t like him but I just don’t find it as worthwhile aside from the opening monologue perhaps.
Rush
Roe Conn and Gary Meier (WLS)
Mark Steyn
Dave Glover (St Louis)
Car Talk Guys (Tom and Ray Magliozzi)
Ben Shapiro
Dennis Prager
Rush Limbaugh
David Boze
Hugh Hewitt (barely)
Rush in stereo. Just started to make the national market, then disappeared. Out of Pittsburgh with a growing market ... puff.
Since I am 12 hours from US time, I use my DAR.fm recording service to record RUSH, Savage, and Kook to Kook AM.
I admit, I have grown really tired of Savage, with his apparent mental disorder, and his constant complaining and trashing of the other talkers, while praising himself. He really needs to get a life.
I should check out Levin and the others.
Same here. I think he’s a great patriot but find his talk radio boring. I think he’s more conducive to a 1 hour tv show and actually better suited for journalism. Used to feel the same way about the venerable, late great Tony Snow.
Andy Dean and Rush.
Rush
Redeye Radio
Neal Boortz (retired)
Glenn Beck(when he’s not crying or reading stories)
The John Batchelor Show (when he has interesting topics)
The Morning Blaze
Levin
Savage
Hannity
Did not realize there were so many besides Rush now.
Levin, Limbaugh, Steyn
Thanx
Rush coming back next week with new implant. You know he’s got state of the art.
Interested to hear about it
DITTO,!!!!
I used to listen to Quinn & Rose as well until I moved from my hometown of Pittsburgh to notorious Palm Beach County Florida in 1996 (5 miles from Rush’s compound). (I’m on the OTHER side of the bridge.)
Howie Carr?
he’s Richard Tisei’s pal, right? Well to Howie, he’s just ‘Richie’...the guy who pushes transgender reform and is proud that he fought so Mass voters had no say in gay marriage.
and is that the same Howie Carr with the producer Sandy who loves Hillary Clinton and gushes at the mere mention of Scott Brown?
and the Howie Carr who helped elect Deval Patrick with his constant mocking of Kerry Healy?
and the Howie Carr who has as a regular fill in host a guy who voted for Obama because he thinks Sarah Palin is a fool?
I have no idea how anyone on a conservative site could think highly of Howie Carr. He used to be entertaining but has never matured as a principled host. I now move either a little to the left to Christian 590 or the right to ESPN at 850 at 3:00.
But Rush and Mark Levin are great.
As well as Christian talk host Dr. Michael Brown.
I notice that Steyn who has been a columnist for the National Review, is no longer on the back page and is not anywhere on the masthead.
Leni
Love his fill-ins, and they are great ... however, nothing like my daily fix of Rush.
I only listen to Levin everyday, Batchelor almost everyday.
1) Mark Levin— love the man
2) John Batchelor for news and interviews but the way he talks bugs me and I think he’s GOPe but still a great news guy, story teller and interviewer.
*******************
3) Mike Church (funny! funny! fella) until he went Ron Paul rabid and I dropped my SIRIUS. I don’t hate Ron Paul but sheesh I can’t handle the worship and the abuse for not thinking Ron Paul is a god or something.
4) Wilkow but I lost interest in him when he went with Beck.
5) Rush
Plus, he's very entertaining.
