Check(list) your privilege.

AS a white, Christian, pro life, pro constitutional, Pro second amendment
.USA. Napalitano referred to this group as the most dangerous group in the US. I thought she was calling e a terrorist ; How do I answer that question?
We use that term in the military, and it used top be that you couldn’t do it while in uniform. It means Personal Display of Affection. Like you are not allowed to make out with your girlfriend or hold hands with her walking down the street.
The only time you could really get in trouble for this was basic training or boot camp, AFAIK.
And to the above first paragraph last sentence I should have added “while in uniform.”
They are obviously aiming at the homosexuals that read this article of course.
(1) I pay more in taxes than I get in government benefits.
(2) I pay three/five/ten/20 times more in taxes than I get in benefits. [One privilege point per Yes answer.]
(3)I have been robbed by a person of a different race.
(4)I have been discriminated against for a job because I am not an approved minority.
(5) The elected leaders of my city/state/country regularly call my opinions racist when I disagree with them.
(6) My culture is the only one not celebrated in the public schools.
(7) I have always worked for a living and have never been on welfare.
(8) I think people should be treated as individuals, not as members of group.
(9) I think that people of all races should be held to the same standards.
(10) I got married before I had children, and have no children out of wedlock.
With a little group participation, we could extend this to about 50 questions and submit it as a counter poll.
My parents (or I) made sure I attended school each day properly dressed, fed and with the homework completed.
IMHO this is more of a test for ‘Victim’ than anything else. Yes, I traveled overseas, my Dad was in the Army, does that make me privileged? However it showed me how well off the people of ‘ZI’ (Zone Interior) had it. With few exceptions our worse off have it better than 95% of the rest of the world!
I graduated High School, to not do so would be unthinkable. Yes, it was not a gang-infested racial-profiled hell led by the best of NEA advocates, working for THEIR retirements!
I have worked at minority owned companies and have had women bosses. I have worked hard there and been called ‘honkie’ by my co-workers because I had a ‘work ethic’ not an ‘entitlement ethic’. I still believe that ‘recreational drugs’ and promiscuous sex’ are paths to failure. (So very un-PC of me!)
While I have been poor, I have always lived within my income and strove for better, so I have never ‘Felt Poor’!
To me, this is an indictment of popular culture and our failed education system. In the last decades, only one show sticks in my mind as celebrating achievement and successful family values, “The Cosby Show” and I doubt if Hollyweird would put it on again.
But you are also privileged if you are a non-white, illegal immigrant or a non-white, American citizen, because then you will given things/advantages by the government white males are not given. There are a lot of sides to the privileged argument.
Basically, if you checked white male, it was pre-determined you were going to be well-privileged.
I checked a lot of bad stuff that supposedly white males don’t experience. I’m still extremely privileged according to these dopes.
I like some of these questions. "Have you ever gone on a trip to a foreign country?" or something like that. How about never going a trip except to visit the grandparents in another state. And your father drove 600 miles nonstop one way to get there. This quiz reeks of liberalism...a very bad smell.
When I was in high school in the sixties, the only kids who had cars (and there weren’t many) had jobs. And yes, there were some rich kids at my school. But they never flaunted anything.
What they are arguing for is that if you weren’t a tiny pct. of the population i.e. homosexual or a “minority” ( where I grew up, “minorities” were less than one percent of the population) where you grew up, you were privileged. Didn’t matter if you grew up poor and had to work hard to get where you are. Liberal dipsticks made up this test. Tainted by liberalism.
The list was rather odd.
Life is a daily kick in the balls....
I got 30 out of 100 so the weighting was not linear since I didn’t answer 30 questions in the affirmative or negative. Maybe 10 or so.
I think the one that added the most....are you white.
And that is my favorite insult. Yeah...I may be whatever, but I’m still white.
What a stupid poll! Why would you post it here?
It *IS* stupid. I posted it here because it's a perfect example of leftist propaganda and I thought people would get a laugh out of it.
I answered "truthfully" and ended up with 13 and got this: It is not your job to educate the world about its injustices, but if you choose to, go ahead and send them this quiz. Hopefully it will help.
I'm supposed to send the "world" this quiz....to what address, may I ask? puhleeeeeze.
I’ve had a pretty good life, yet the quiz tells me I’m underprivileged. Guess I’ll have to start whining.
The funniest one was I have always had cable....no, there was a time when even cable wasn’t available.
