Stopped using the Google KGB long ago. Currently using Opera, but some items just don’t work on that browser yet. Need to check out other browsers mentioned.
Dumped Firefox last week and tweeted Mozilla that I was just as intolerant as they.
I’m going to play with Palemoon, which is based on Mozilla, but can be customized to specific requirements.
This isn’t because I think I can alter their liberal thinking, after all it *is* (still, sorta-kinda) a free country and I don’t expect everyone will agree with me, but because Firefox has been becoming increasingly unstable with memory leaks and other issues going unaddressed.
Thankfully, we have the freedom of choice.
“Warning!
You appear to be using Mac OS X, and this application is not compatible with that system.
Continue at your peril.”
well i guess I wont be adding THAT particular browser
Dump on all my home machine and also in office.
Shove it, Mozilla. Evidently you like the folks that do.
Update: Red State has admitted this is a hoax:
Firefox users: We sent you a little message today.
By: The Directors (Diary) | April 8th, 2014 at 06:41 PM | 74
Today, users of the Firefox web browser were given a message when accessing most of our Front Page content at RedState. They were told that this site could not be displayed, because of a conflict with the values of the Mozilla corporation, and they were suggested to visit another site.
We put that message up, because we wanted to remind people that the totalitarian impulse of the Mozilla corporation is real, and if you havent been Made to Care yet, you will be soon.
Send a message that you wont take it lying down. Get another browser.
I deeply regret passing along a hoax, and am angry at Red State for publishing something that is untrue. Red State has lost my respect and any future presumption of credibility. They may also be hearing from Firefox's attorneys. This is an excellent way to scarifice a good cause in the name of sensationalism. Much though I hate it, I must hereby apologize to Firefox, and I blame Red State.

I see no reason to leave Safari anyway, fine with me
Redstate says THEY put it up:

Pale Moon or Waterfox. Both are functionally indentical to Firefox, but not associated with Mozilla.
“I suggest that you install an alternate browser just for Google searches”.
Better yet, use Startpage.com or duckduckgo.com as a search engine, as they search Google for you.
Uninstalled Firefox yesterday. I don’t know how to set it up but there should be a “Dump Firefox” site where people can just click if they’ve participated.
Safari is a fine browser.
i use a lot of em to check the code for web pages I build to make certain that everything works on as many browsers as possible.
come to think of it making SOME pages works STRANGELY when veiewed using FIrefox...might have some entertaining advantages
There's your real problem. As long as you use Google, you are supporting their decision to force out Eich.
I heartily recommend ixquick. They do no tracking.
Thanks, I’ll try Dolphin too. The native Android browser also sucks ;-)
I just changed my main home computer to Pale Moon and uninstalled Firefox (which I loved!) — it took literally 5 minutes and transferred over all of my bookmarks, my history, passwords and even my “persona” (the special graphic I had for the top and bottom bars of my browser. New default search is DuckDuckGo, that’s the only difference I can see so far. Will change over my tablet later if this works out well after a day or two of testing.
