Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.
Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Here’s some interesting facts from one who has studied Rood for some time...and his followers:
Rood has a strong tendency toward mixing ‘wildly’ speculative material in with solid Biblical teaching in a way that ‘totally muddles’ just where solid Biblical or historical fact leaves off, and where his own pure conjecture starts..........
Rood uses a ‘rapid-fire verbal delivery in his public appearances and on video and audio tapes that often “overwhelms his listeners with information” for up to four hours and more at a time. He thus offers his listeners little time to meditate on one point he has made before he races on to the next.
His primary appeal seems in recent times to be individuals with very little or no foundation in studying the Bible. And thus they might well be expected to swallow his teachings whole, making no distinction between ‘Roodisms’ and solid Bible content....
He regularly makes statements which are not supported from either scripture or standard Biblical reference works, and yet offers no foundation for such statements from other sources.
His listeners, many of whom have ‘not’ been grounded in extensive study of the scriptures and Biblical history before becoming fascinated by Rood’s teachings, are often ill-equipped to sort out fact from speculation. And thus many end up just accepting every word of his presentations as “truth”.
Roods self-designation as a “Messianic Rabbi” seems to be designed to foster an illusion of “Biblical authority.”....... He seems to be attempting to subconsciously reinforce this same illusion through the choice of costume (evoking not just contemporary “Jewish” religious garments, but the garb of ancient Biblical characters such as the prophets)..... he uses in both his public appearances and on his website.
Roody has indicated over and over in his writings and speaking that he has been ‘the recipient of direct divine interventions’ over and over which he evidently offers as validation of his ministry. And over time he has tended to make bolder and bolder claims about himself and his role in End Times events...........There is no question that he is offering material as validation that he has unique insight from God into matters separate from just “diligent Bible study.”

You're clearing “Pimping this guys stuff on FR. ...and it's ‘Bait and Switch’ to get people to convert to his teachings. That's how his followers work throughout the Internet.
Rood works by introducing “Free” stuff ‘to the Biblical uninformed’ then they ultimately buy into his fakery hook line and sinker.
Rather like Pyramid style...his followers then promote for him as you are doing here on FR...and others as yourself do over the Internet. Rood works this way because far too many are unfamiliar with Scripture or at best limited so they can fall easily into his trap.
Rood stopped spreading any resemblance to the Gospel message long ago....and highly questionable if he ever had it to begin with...and is now spreading His own message ... He's a fraud and a counterfeit using Christian theology to wrap his message in...... Rood isn't the first to do this nor will he be the last....they ALL 'package' their message differently but it's the same old worn out message....send me the money!

How many times have I challenged you to show me a SINGLE instance where Michael Rood has presented ANYTHING that isn't verifiable in scripture? What's it been, months and even years now that I've been waiting...
That's because his teachings are nothing BUT from scripture. Whatever version of false churchianity you follow, doesn't seem to provide you with a very solid foundation in your faith, otherwise you wouldn't be so afraid of learning about the truth Michael Rood has uncovered.
....not to mention he solicits for real estate, stock investments and lets not forget to include Rood Ministries in your will and estate planning.....they'll be happy to help you out! and promote this on his website.
