Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come)
A Rood Awakening Tv ^ | 7 February 2014 | Michael Rood

Posted on 02/09/2014 9:26:46 AM PST by Errant

Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.

Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Now, after more than 40 years in the making, The Chronological Gospels is complete with all of the extensive parenthetical clauses accurately assigned throughout the book of The Revelation.

Now, with its impending fulfillment looming large on the horizon, The Revelation can finally be understood with clarity and lived with integrity. This one feature (the parenthetical clauses in The Revelation) in The Chronological Gospels is worth one thousand times the price of the book itself.

Join Michael Rood for the first of the last four teachings on the very last book of the Bible, “Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come)”.

There really isn’t enough material to make much of a thread on “Trinity.”

Matthew, 1 John, and Acts make up the whole battlefield.

....”Yeshua was a powerful ‘enough’ man to scatter all of the animal sellers and money changers on the temple porch single-handed”.......

He’s doing the same thing with Rood’s teachings...you guys just keep picking up the broken pieces....worse deny they’re even broken!

>>>In the original Hebrew Gospel of Matthew, it just says “in the name of the Son,” much like in Acts.<<<

Which "original Hebrew" manuscript are you referring to?

Young's literal translation reads:

"... having gone, then, disciple all the nations, (baptizing them--to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," (Matt 28:19 YLT)

The New International and American Standard versions read:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Mat 28:19 NIV)

"Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:" (Mat 28:19 ASV)

The Catholic Douay-Rheims translation reads:

"Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Mat 28:19 DRA)

And the Jehovah Witness translation reads:

"Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit," (Mat 28:19 NWT)

I really am curious which manuscript you are referring to.

Philip

So your response to these scriptures is “smoke less bad dope?”...... This is why it’s impossible to dialogue with you guys, you’re not interested in anything more than promoting Roods teachings....you’re certainly not interested in what God has to say about Moses nor Jesus Christ.

Again.................

”We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away....... But ‘their minds were made dull’, ....for to this day ‘the same veil remains’ when the old covenant is read.... It has not been removed, because ONLY in Christ is it taken away.

Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers ‘their hearts’..... But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away….

....And we, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Cor 3:13-18).

And thus, for some the veil remains. It is a veil that clouds ‘their minds and hearts’. This is not a veil of modesty or reverence, this is a veil of unknowing that must be removed by the gift of faith through Jesus Christ.

There is no chaste virgin until Yeshua’s blood cleanses us. What is wrong with your head? Men are evil, not chaste; it is Yeshua’s payment for our sin that changes his divorced wife into his chaste bride for the wedding supper at Yom Kippur on the sea of fire and glass.

>>>Uh, so is this a “yes” or a “no” on starting that new thread? Maybe your buddy Errant, when he figures out what he believes, can do it then? Or Philip? But, he is a modalist, and so you guys aren’t really all that compatible. You probably want to avoid inter-cult warfare to join up against the bigger enemy, which is Christianity.<<<

I see you like to throw the “cult” word around. Do you consider Dispensationalism a cult? A lot of Presbyterians do. I was wondering if you were one of them.

Is this not also a rule on Bloggers/Personal threads? Thanks.

As long as there are those trying to draw people away from Jesus it will NOT be dead.

I understand; but nothing new is being presented; just the same stuff over and over and over.

Perhaps MY problem is the fact that I am re-reading about the Civil War, and how men threw themselves into the maw of war and piled up bodies 3,4,5 deep on both sides of a muddy line that today has houses and homes and towns at Wilderness, Spotsylvania and Cold Harbor.

Is that considered making it personal?

1385 replies in this thread; most of them filled with examples of all kinds of namecalling and epitaphs; and NOW it gets 'personal'?

[Many new-age versions of the bible have eliminated or watered-down 1 John 5:7 with brackets and footnotes.]

At least ancient documents are used to come up with these translations.

Pity the poor MORMONs who have two sets of OPPOSING 'scripture' to reconcile in their deceived brains!!

Trinity:

found in the Book of MORMON        -----------   rejected in the Doctrines and Covenants

Book of Mormon:

Now Zeezrom said: Is there more than one God? And he answered, No. (Alma 11:28-29)

...and be arraigned before the bar of Christ the Son, and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, which is one Eternal God, to be judged according to their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil. (Alma 11:44)

...doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen. (2 Nephi 31:21)

...praises with the choirs above, unto the Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a state of happiness which hath no end. (Mormon 7:7)

...power of God; and the Son, because of the flesh; thus becoming the Father and Son--And they are one God, yea, the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth. And thus the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit, or the Son to the Father, being one God, (Mosiah 15:3-5)

...of Jared, that whoso should possess this land of promise, from that time henceforth and forever, should serve him, the true and only God, or they should be swept off when the fulness of his wrath should come upon them. (Ether 2:8)

Doctrine and Covenants:

According to that which was ordained in the midst of the Council of the Eternal God of all other gods before this world was, that should be reserved unto the finishing and the end thereof, when every man shall enter into his eternal presence and into his immortal rest. (Section 121:32)

And again, verily I say unto you, if a man marry a wife, and make a covenant with her for time and for all eternity, if that covenant is not by me or by my word, which is my law, and is not sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, through him whom I have anointed and appointed unto this power, then it is not valid neither of force when they are out of the world, because they are not joined by me, saith the Lord, neither by my word; when they are out of the world it cannot be received there, because the angels and the gods are appointed there, by whom they cannot pass; they cannot, therefore, inherit my glory; for my house is a house of order, saith the Lord God. And again, verily I say unto you, if a man marry a wife by my word, which is my law, and by the new and everlasting covenant, and it is sealed unto them by the Holy Spirit of promise, by him who is anointed, unto whom I have appointed this power and the keys of this priesthood; and it shall be said unto them--Ye shall come forth in the first resurrection; and if it be after the first resurrection, in the next resurrection; and shall inherit thrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, all heights and depths--then shall it be written in the Lamb's Book of Life, that he shall commit no murder whereby to shed innocent blood, and if ye abide in my covenant, and commit no murder whereby to shed innocent blood, it shall be done unto them in all things whatsoever my servant hath put upon them, in time, and through all eternity; and shall be of full force when they are out of the world; and they shall pass by the angels, and the gods, which are set there, to their exaltation and glory in all things, as hath been sealed upon their heads, which glory shall be a fulness and a continuation of the seeds forever and ever. Then shall they be gods, because they have no end; therefore shall they be from everlasting to everlasting, because they continue; then shall they be above all, because all things are subject unto them. Then shall they be gods, because they have all power, and the angels are subject unto them. (Section 132:18-20)

Abraham received concubines, and they bore him children; and it was accounted unto him for righteousness, because they were given unto him, and he abode in my law; as Isaac also and Jacob did none other things than that which they were commanded; and because they did none other things than that which they were commanded, they have entered into their exaltation, according to the promises, and sit upon thrones, and are not angels but are gods. (Section 132:37)

An 1830 statement titled "Testimony of Three Witnesses"—one statement signed by three men rather than three separate statements—was published at the end of the first edition of the Book of Mormon:

Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come: That we, through the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, have seen the plates which contain this record, which is a record of the people of Nephi, and also of the Lamanites, his brethren, and also of the people of Jared, who came from the tower of which hath been spoken. And we also know that they have been translated by the gift and power of God, for his voice hath declared it unto us; wherefore we know of a surety that the work is true. And we also testify that we have seeen [sic] the engravings which are upon the plates; and they have been shewn unto us by the power of God, and not of man. And we declare with words of soberness, that an angel of God came down from heaven, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the plates, and the engravings thereon; and we know that it is by the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, that we beheld and bear record that these things are true. And it is marvellous [sic] in our eyes. Nevertheless, the voice of the Lord commanded us that we should bear record of it; wherefore, to be obedient unto the commandments of God, we bear testimony of these things. And we know that if we are faithful in Christ, we shall rid our garments of the blood of all men, and be found spotless before the judgment-seat of Christ, and shall dwell with him eternally in the heavens. And the honor be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, which is one God. Amen.
