Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.
Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Now, after more than 40 years in the making, The Chronological Gospels is complete with all of the extensive parenthetical clauses accurately assigned throughout the book of The Revelation.
Now, with its impending fulfillment looming large on the horizon, The Revelation can finally be understood with clarity and lived with integrity. This one feature (the parenthetical clauses in The Revelation) in The Chronological Gospels is worth one thousand times the price of the book itself.

You just proved my point...
....how many pagan names did you just use in your post......yet not once did you mention Jesus Christ.
Jesus said his name would be an offense to those who don’t know Him and who would oppose Him....but to those of us called to Him he is the great I AM......
No other name under heaven where one can be saved....! And since his parents were told what to name him, and they did so. I’ll just accept his parents knew well what they were doing.
Matt 1:21
“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call HIS NAME JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Matt 1:25
....” and (Joseph) did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And HE CALLED HIS NAME JESUS.
Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ ( Iēsou Christou) to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
Christou - Definition: Anointed One; the Messiah, the Christ.
The Greek New Testament uses the word Christou a total of 538 times and is always about Jesus.
Gordon and the Karaites that Rood chums around with and who he was married by deny the deity of Christ.
Are we STILL yelling at each other in this thread?
The horse is WAY past being dead, Dead, DEAD!!!
Opposing apostate teaching is yelling? Is that what you consider it when you post in opposition to Mormonism? As long as there are those trying to draw people away from Jesus it will NOT be dead.
Where's your proof that it is a lie? Are you able to explain Exo_12:48, Exo 12:43-44, Num 15:16, in a way that does not forbid "foreigners" from taking part in the passover feast until they are circumcised? Can you, honestly, address the actual words of the text and explain them in any kind of way? It says it right there: no one who is not circumcised can dare eat of it. Secondly, there is to be one law between the Jews and the Gentile converts. Who are you to rewrite the Torah? Speak honestly, directly, no dodging and no more personal attacks. Just address the scripture. Will you do that for me?
Depends, what part of the doctrine of the Trinity do you disagree with? Explain your belief to me in contrast to the Trinity, and I will show you the scripture which will sort you out.
Part of the series From Here To Eternity February 21, 2014 [Begins at 8:00 PM ET - Discussion at 9:00 PM ET]
Out of the twenty-two chapters of the book of the Revelation, two of them are dedicated to the description of mystery Babylon and its ultimate destruction. Two entire chapters boil down to the very reason that the entire economic system of Planet Earth must be and will be destroyed before the Messiah reigns.
Now, at last, you will understand why Abraham was told to come out of Babylon in the book of Genesis and finally in the book of the Revelation, the children of Abraham (by faith) are again instructed to come out of Babylon.
Join Michael Rood in post-apocalyptic Charlotte as he brings the book of Revelation to life. This is your opportunity to understand the future From Here to Eternity.
I expect this to be very interesting...
Now why in the world after all our discussion would you think I would be interested in watching an apostate give his corrupted views of scripture? I have learned enough about Michael Rood to know that anyone who listens to him is being led away from Christ and the true meaning of scripture. I will NOT watch that apostate servant of Satan.
His bride is present throughout the old testament.
God's wife in the OT is never referred to as a Bride...They are divorced...This is not the same Bride spoken of in the New Testament...The Bride in the New Testament is something new, a 'chaste virgin'...No remarrying going on there...
2Co_11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
This Bride has never been married...
Good catch! It seems to never end with scripture showing them to be in error.
Who cares? I have friends who used to be leaders in the Mormon church, and who used to be Catholics. What matters is what they are ~now~.
The Karaites and a leader of the who is also a close friend of Rood deny the deity of Jesus as anyone can find out by doing just a little research on them.
*GASP* Jews who deny Yeshua! Who'da thunk it? Unless they are Messianic, OF COURSE THEY DO! They're Jews!
As a matter of fact, Nehemiah Gordon, the Karaite Jew who you are so ready to defame, is the first Jew that I have ever heard in my life who DEFENDS Yeshua as a rabbi, and who defends Yeshua as keeping Torah - One of the major biases prevalent in Judaism is that Yeshua broke Torah and was a false rabbi - In studying the matter Gordon found MUCH to defend Yeshua with.
Now, whether his belief, he has the integrity to look at the matter honestly, has opened himself up to Christians of all stripes, and is respectful of Christians. He is a scholar of caliber, and a font of information - So what, he is to be shunned and ignored because of his Jewish faith? How ridiculous is that?
Rood and his current wife Judith also were married in a Karaite ceremony where they pledged their beliefs.
So what?
Thank you
Shabbat Shalom
>>>Was that question already answered in this thread then? I didn’t read all 1000+ posts. I just came in when I got summoned. So, will you tell me, do you confess the Trinity or not?<<<
I am like you: I came in late to this thread. Tell me, what is your understanding of the Trinity—from the scriptures—so we can follow along?
While you are at it, please answer these questions that you avoided in a previous exchange:
1) Where does it say that every name written in the book of life was written “before the foundation of the world?”
2) Do you think you have a good heart?
3) Do you think you are a saint?
Thanks,
Philip
Another anti-trinitarian is harassing me about some matter from a previous thread? I had almost forgotten! It's not that I couldn't answer you, by the way. I just chose not to, since I thought further dialogue with you would accomplish nothing, and that my answers were self-evident with just a little bit of thinking. I have no intention of engaging with you in this one either.
>> “They are divorced” <<
.
No, they’re remarried, read Romans 7.
You’re just not equipped to ever understand Yehova’s word.
WE all know that you’re not interested in the real things of Yehova.
Only the lies that are sweet to your pagan ears.
.
I seem to recall that you were the one harassing me.
>>>I had almost forgotten!<<<
I'll bet you did. Why answer the tough questions when you can avoid them by pretending they were never asked?
>>>It's not that I couldn't answer you, by the way.<<<
Great! I will be expecting your answers, soon!
>>>I just chose not to, since I thought further dialogue with you would accomplish nothing...<<<
I believe I asked those questions more than once; and two of them were questions you had either asked me, or proposed to me. What's the matter? Are you afraid to answer those questions?
>>>and that my answers were self-evident with just a little bit of thinking.<<<
For the benefit of us "non-thinkers," please answer them in plain, simple language.
>>>I have no intention of engaging with you in this one either.<<<
I don't blame you. Your arguments seemed very weak to me. Is that why you avoided the one direct question you asked me, which I answered, and then asked you? This was the question:
"Do you believe you have a good heart?"
And you made this declaration, which you instantly pretended you did not make:
"Only if you propose that a man can be saved by his works, or that those written into the Book of Life were not there from before the foundation of the world."
My questions were not difficult or grievous. They were:
"Where does it say that every name written in the book of life was written "before the foundation of the world?""
"Do you think you have a good heart?"
"Do you think you are a saint?"
I admit you never asked me that last question; but I didn't see any harm in asking it.
BTW, I am not anti-trinitarian. I am "ANTI-ANY MAN-MADE DEFINITION OF THE TRINITY, such as the one you adhere to that requires 652 words to explain in terms only the pretentious would pretend to understand." This is some of your "understanding" of the Trinity, in your own words:
we worship one God in trinity and the trinity in unity, neither blending their persons nor dividing their essence. For the person of the Father is a distinct person, the person of the Son is another, and that of the Holy Spirit still another. But the divinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one, their glory equal, their majesty coeternal. (The Athanasian Creed)
LOL! There is a difference between what you believe and what is written in 1 John 5:7, you know. I will stick to 1 John 5:7.
Philip
A chaste virgin is remarried?
2Co_11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Youre just not equipped to ever understand Gods word.
I think you should stop harassing him and following him from thread to thread dragging issues from one thread to another.
