Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come)
A Rood Awakening Tv ^ | 7 February 2014 | Michael Rood

Posted on 02/09/2014 9:26:46 AM PST by Errant

Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.

Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Now, after more than 40 years in the making, The Chronological Gospels is complete with all of the extensive parenthetical clauses accurately assigned throughout the book of The Revelation.

Now, with its impending fulfillment looming large on the horizon, The Revelation can finally be understood with clarity and lived with integrity. This one feature (the parenthetical clauses in The Revelation) in The Chronological Gospels is worth one thousand times the price of the book itself.

Join Michael Rood for the first of the last four teachings on the very last book of the Bible, “Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come)”.

>> “So by posting those verses and bolding what you did are claiming that you do not sin?” <<

I do not sin deliberately.

I do not deliberately disregard his commandments.

I do not declare his commandments void.

I do not declare that those that do his commandments nullify the Savior’s death on the cross as you dared to say.

There isn’t a single one of the apostles that agrees with you in any way. They all say that doers of the Law will be justified. they all say that we must endure to the end to be saved. They all say that the resurrection unto life is at the last trump.

The wise believe them, as they agree with Yeshua’s own words on this.

They all say that doers of the Law will be justified.

Sure they do...

Acts 15

The Council at Jerusalem
1 Certain people came down from Judea to Antioch and were teaching the believers: “Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved.” 2 This brought Paul and Barnabas into sharp dispute and debate with them. So Paul and Barnabas were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question. 3 The church sent them on their way, and as they traveled through Phoenicia and Samaria, they told how the Gentiles had been converted. This news made all the believers very glad. 4 When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders, to whom they reported everything God had done through them.

5 Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.”

6 The apostles and elders met to consider this question. 7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: “Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

12 The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. 13 When they finished, James spoke up. “Brothers,” he said, “listen to me. 14 Simon[a] has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. 15 The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written:

16 “‘After this I will return
   and rebuild David’s fallen tent.
Its ruins I will rebuild,
   and I will restore it,
17 that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
even all the Gentiles who bear my name,
says the Lord, who does these things’[b]
18 things known from long ago.[c]

19 “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. 21 For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.”

The Council’s Letter to Gentile Believers
22 Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, men who were leaders among the believers. 23 With them they sent the following letter:

The apostles and elders, your brothers,

To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia:

   Greetings.

24 We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said. 25 So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul— 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing. 28 It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.

   Farewell.

30 So the men were sent off and went down to Antioch, where they gathered the church together and delivered the letter. 31 The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message. 32 Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers. 33 After spending some time there, they were sent off by the believers with the blessing of peace to return to those who had sent them. [34] [d] 35 But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.

Disagreement Between Paul and Barnabas
36 Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.” 37 Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them, 38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work. 39 They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus, 40 but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord. 41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

Incidentally perhaps - but not in a way to make His own word null, or in a way to cause His prophets to me made liars - That necessarily defeats the purpose.

Thanks for the tone of your disagreements with me (us)...I don't know what bus those other yahoos got dropped off from but I can see they didn't ride with you...

I believe every word of scripture is true...I believe all of the prophecies are true...

I said earlier that the age of the church was not revealed to anyone in the OT including the prophets...Of all those prophecies, none relate to the the time of the church from when the Gospel of the grace of God was revealed to the apostle Paul until the start of the Tribulation (or thereabouts)...

Like one preacher tries to make an analogy; the OT prophets saw the two mountains far off but they couldn't see the valley that was inbetween them...

God took Israel out of the loop...

Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

This is another of the places where the scripture confirms that the Torah is on hold...

Rom 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
Rom 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

They are all blinded...Israel is blinded...Rood is wasting his time because the blind Israel he's trying to reach will not see until God allows them to...

Rom 11:9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
Rom 11:10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

Now this Israel being spoken of can not be Gentiles or else the Gentiles would be blinded right along with them...

Rom 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Israel's blindness is not permanent...It's about 2000 years long...

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Paul is not comparing the Gentiles to Israel...He is distinguishing the Gentiles from Israel...And when God is done with the Gentiles, that 2nd mountain top that the OT prophets know is there will come into their view...

Yes, Jesus did teach the Torah but when Israel rejected him as their King in the book of Acts, God revealed to Peter that the unclean things of the Torah were no longer unclean, the Laws were no longer relevant for righteousness (Rom.3), that Gentiles would be allowed to have the same spiritual promises (Kingdom of God) given to Israel, all for free...Just believe...

God put the Torah on hold...When God is done with the Gentiles, the Kingdom of Heaven (the physical kingdom) will show up along with Jesus on his Throne and the Torah will again be the rule of the land...

>>I do not sin deliberately.<<

[6]Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil>/b>;

I don’t see the qualifier “deliberately” in there. That would make you of the devil in your interpretation as you have posted it wouldn’t it? Could it possibly be that you are missing something?

Sooner or later you have to learn that when Paul says “works” he is referring to the false law of the Pharisees.

Then you need to read Hosea and learn that what you call “the church” was definitely well known in the OT, and was the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.

Direct questions deserve direct answers:

John 6:28-29

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Yah... Funny thing about that word 'believe'... In the Hebrew sense, it means 'Hear and Do'.
Kinda fits in with stuff like this:

Rom_2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Jas_1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Michael Rood has neglected to point out that the resources for their calendar calculations are found in astrology, numerology and kabbalist gematria. These calculations are also found in the teachings of Oriental, Egyptian, Chinese, Hindu, Zodiac and Gaia based calendar information he and his associates source for the “Astronomically and Agriculturally corrected Biblical Hebrew Calendar.” [http://www.seekgod.ca/roodzodiac.htm]

Attempting to support your preposterous claims by linking to similar preposterous claims of seekgod.ca is the epitome of a biased agenda. This website is run by a woman of questionable character by the name of Vicky Dillen.

Here are three sources of information about here:

Answering the Critics: seekgod.ca

"Today we are going to take on one of the oldest websites that attacks Christians who teach obedience to God’s Instructions (Torah). It’s called seekgod.ca, and it’s run by a woman named Vicky Dillen. This woman has over a decade’s worth of anti-Torah content to browse through, so we cannot possibly cover it all, nor would we wish to. We are simply going to take a look at one of her more egregious articles and demonstrate from Scripture and with logic why her reasoning and conclusions are invalid."

Encounter with Vicky Dillen

"Victoria Dillen is in a small cyber-cult of people holding Ruckmanite beliefs (believing that the 1611 edition of the King James Bible is more authoratative than the Hebrew and Greek originals). She is associated with someone called Barb Aho and her husband and two silly old women called Howard and Buester in Australia. They also have some connection with an ignorant crank in New Zealand named Tom Lamb and two individuals in Tenessee named Flanders and Engstrom who, among other things, defend Christian Cannabis smoking. Some of these sad people also are inclined towards the white superemacist anti-Semitioc Identity Movement and British Israelism."

Seekgod.ca responds!

"Incorrect. I have never claimed to be a teacher of anything. Every believer is to be equipped to be a soldier of the cross. At some point each are to be doing what God has called them to in order to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and edify the Body of Christ. Each has a role and we are to mature in the faith and in the knowledge and wisdom of Christ. I have belonged to Jesus Christ for almost 40 years. I am not a babe in the Lord but am old enough to have understood certain things—with an awful lot still to understand. But what little I do know, God allows me to use to encourage others that it’s about a relationship with Jesus Christ and obedience to Him and His Word. That is the standard of what our beliefs are to be about. And that is what I always point people to. NOT my opinion, but Jesus Christ and the Word."

Looking back at some of your links, I see most have came from her pen...

Implying that the Astronomically and Agriculturally Corrected Hebrew Calendar is somehow based on occult origins could only come from a "flat earth" mentality!

From the publisher:

The Creator’s reckoning of time is clearly detailed in the first scroll of the Hebrew Scriptures. Yet, the western Gentile Christian world has forsaken God’s calendar. Instead, it has adopted a pagan reckoning of time in which every day of the week and month of the year is named after a pagan god or fallen angel. Days, weeks, months, and years all begin at completely fictitious points in time. Those raised within the western paradigm have no idea what time it is. It is as if the hands have been broken from the face of the clock.

The Creator set the sun, moon, planets, and stars in their courses as an elaborate time-keeping device that has not varied since creation. By it we understand His appointed times and seasons, which enables us to live in harmony with Him and His creation. Our published Astronomically and Agriculturally Corrected Biblical Hebrew Calendar is designed to help those who seek to more fully understand the Hebrew Scriptures – from Genesis to Revelation.

My Comments:

The corrected calendar uses the actual sighting of the New Moon as the Hebrews had done for centuries until forced out of the land of Israel by the Romans. The current Jewish calendar uses a formula developed after the Jews were forced out and could no longer keep the original observations. Now that they're back in the land of Israel, it is again possible to go back to the original way of keeping the calendar. As it is, they're both pretty close but can vary by days, IIRC.

[roamer_1:] Now, I'd like to point out that there is more heat than light running from BOTH sides of this thread

You have a keen grasp of the obvious; but now, how do we retreat? The 'rightness' of each position is embedded deeply, and honor has been besmirched.

You're asking me? Shoot! You know I'm a redneck boy... When we have problems we just take it outside, throw some hands and figger it out. Then whoever gave the beatdown buys the beer... and it's all good. I don't know what the electronic equivalent for that is, out here on the Interwebs. : )

Can’t refute any of her reporting on Rood?

Was he or was he not ordained by “The Way International?

Was he or was he not divorced and remarried?

Did or did not the council find him to have taken money that was not his to take?

Did or did not the council determine he made false accusations?

Did he or did he not grow up where he said he did regardless of no records of such or anyone who remembers him there?

Does he or does he not change his story depending on who he is talking to?

Did he or did he not publish a book wherein he falsely claimed to be a Jew?

Human logic has no place in understanding the words of God...

Nonsense. If HE says His Torah is forever, then it is forever. If HE says HIS (not the Jews') Holy Days are forever, then they are FOREVER. I said 'logic stream'. It isn't about human logic to see what He says... That's what He said it *for*... It is meant to be understood.

This guy has has been around for a long time...Plenty of time to put his teaching into a written format that could have references and be defended if he wanted it that way... I believe if that happened his case would soon be demolished by competant bible believers...

Some of it, maybe so... but the general tenor, nope. The Messianics, from both the Jewish and the Christian sides, are certainly closer to the truth than their counterparts - and that is prophesied btw... See if you can find it...

Human logic has no place in understanding the words of God...

Hosea 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

2 Peter 1:2-3 - Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, ...

Isaiah 5:13 - Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because [they have] no knowledge: and their honourable men [are] famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Romans 10:17 - So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Ephesians 1:17-21 - That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

John 8:32 - And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Luke 11:28 - But he said, Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Revelation 22:18 - For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

1 John 5:4 - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 Corinthians 12:8 - For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

Romans 8:7 - Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Can I now get a little street cred from you for all this scripture I'm posting???
