Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.
Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Now, after more than 40 years in the making, The Chronological Gospels is complete with all of the extensive parenthetical clauses accurately assigned throughout the book of The Revelation.
Now, with its impending fulfillment looming large on the horizon, The Revelation can finally be understood with clarity and lived with integrity. This one feature (the parenthetical clauses in The Revelation) in The Chronological Gospels is worth one thousand times the price of the book itself.
Join Michael Rood for the first of the last four teachings on the very last book of the Bible, Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come).
Ezekiel 37 is prophesying the regathering of Israel in their land as has been happening since 1948.
You misinterpretations always get you in trouble with scripture. The wild branches are the Gentiles, not the lost tribes of Israel which were broken off and will be grafted back in.
Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
We dont need to. We see it evidenced here every day by his followers.
>>straight from twisting the gospels<<
There, fixed it for ya!
>>It's unthinkable to me that anyone who calls themselves a Christian would actually stoop to such lowdown and extreme efforts that you have gone to on these threads purely to harm this much needed work.<<
Thats what Mormons, Muslims, and Catholics tell us also.
>>The only explanation that makes sense to me, is that you are possessed by Satan himself, and are indeed doing his work; certainly you are not doing the work of the Almighty - that's for sure.<<
Are you sure youre not Muslim?
I just recognize the spirit of the antichrist when I see it.
>> “Ezekiel 37 is prophesying the regathering of Israel in their land as has been happening since 1948.” <<
.
No more ridiculous statement has ever cascaded off your keyboard.
There has been no visible return of “the House of Israel” to to the modern Nation of Israel. Only Jews are even presently welcome to migrate there.
Ezekiel 37 is about the entire Kingdom of Yeshua, not the nation of the House of Judah. The OT prophecies regarding “Judah” apply to this tiny nation, but not those regarding Israel.
.
The "Hebrew Roots" or Messianic movement seems to me to be comprised of two types of people. I actually admire those who seek a fuller understanding of the underpinnings of the Christian faith and the basis of God's promises THROUGH the Jewish nation. I even wore a "Star of David" necklace in Bible college and I believed and still do that we who believe in and follow Christ are by-faith children of Abraham. One of the professors had a Christian outreach ministry to the Jewish people (general Miami area). His teachings emphasized the rich and wonderful heritage we share with God's chosen people. I will never forget the Seder he performed and taught as it clearly was quite Messianic in the symbolism used throughout the meal. It was fascinating.
The other people, it seems to me, are those like some on this thread as well as "teachers" such as Michael Rood who take it to an extreme. From http://www.apologeticsindex.org/687-michael-rood, I learned that:
That sure sounds like the attitude a few here have towards those of us who do not swallow whole everything the man says. I've lost count of how many times we have been accused of being Satan's children, his messengers, his minions, liars, etc. The message they send is not unlike those of cults who demand total obedience to their views and who declare a "new" and "restored" Christianity that somehow has been lost for two thousand years. I can respect other's decisions to worship as they choose and when, but I draw a line between someone's personal beliefs and their demands and condemnations of all those who do not fall in line with EVERYTHING they say. That was the attitude of the Roman Catholic Church for centuries and multitudes were persecuted and murdered for refusing their mandates. We rightfully reject that and the Hebrew Roots guys who try to do the same thing. We have plenty of Scripture to know that certain things are areas of Christian liberty and those who would deny that liberty to others are no different than the church they criticized. Additional discussions of Michael Rood and an examination of his prophecies and teachings can be seen here http://www.apologeticsindex.org/688-michael-rood-2.
No one here denies that we should obey God's commands and that if we love Him, we will through the power of the Holy Spirit. Nobody is advocating living in sin while basking in the assurance of salvation by grace. The main "beef" has been separating the works we do because we ARE saved by grace through faith and doing works, obeying commandments in order to BE saved. I don't think that is what you are contending as I have always found your "gospel" to be straight. We are saved by the grace of God THROUGH faith and not by works. We are made righteous and redeemed by the precious blood of the Messiah. His sacrifice completely atoned for our sins and NOTHING we do can or needs to supplement His perfect sacrifice. When we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. Walking in the light is that of living in obedience to Him, seeking to honor and glorify Him in all we do.
As for the "Trinity", I have said many times the SAME thing you have, that we cannot and do not have the capacity to fully grasp or comprehend the nature of God. His ways are "past finding out". The use of the word Trinity is to me nothing more than a shorthand way of saying what we believe about God and how He has revealed Himself to mankind. We believe the Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God, YET there is only one God. How that really works out is beyond the ability of our mortal and finite minds. Like you said, we don't know it all, but we CAN have faith that God never lies or contradicts Himself. His word is inerrant and is the truth that will never pass away. We can trust in what He has told us even if we don't understand it all. We may not like the word "Trinity" but it does speak to the triune nature of our Creator God as He has told us. It is true because HE said it, not because the Catholic Church defined it. We shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
A few contentious sorts here have disputed that Jesus is God incarnate. They have denied that the Holy Spirit is a "person", a member of the Godhead. They refuse to clearly state their beliefs and think referring to Rood's DVDs is an adequate response. It isn't and that explains why we are nearing a thousand posts to this thread.
Thanks again for your comments.

You could be a great fiction writer!
What a scrambled mess!
Sounds like Archie Bunker on scripture.

Isn't it amazing how many of our worship days revolve around Pagan Gods. Ole Satan is a tricky devil indeed to have pulled the wool over the eyes of so many, for so long, and even to this very day.
Another very good teacher is Jim Staley...
Thanks for the link! I look for other sources all of the time and more and more are becoming available. It's one reason why I know this new search for truth in the Bible is taking hold. I'm now seeing both pastors and priests talk about some of the misconceptions we have inherited down through the ages based on tradition and not the scriptural evidence.
No doubt Michael Rood is a bit abrasive at times, to put it mildly. Even I cringe sometimes... lol He is a former marine and having been around a few 'jar heads' and having worked with them for a time in my life, I appreciate his open candor. I find him amusing and often laugh at some of his more inventive analogies. ;)
He knows a heck of a lot about the scriptures. More than anyone I know of. I've checked him a number of times when I felt maybe he was 'stretching' things a bit. In every case, he was right on the money. I'm also been awed by the knowledge that both you and ES have. I'm sure you've both noticed that I'm peddling as hard as I can to stay in sight of you guys!
Something else that is apparent is how solid you two are in your beliefs and how shaky the other side is, as if they themselves doubt what they believe - that speaks volumes. It also speaks volumes that they see a search for the Biblical truth as some sort of a threat.
I agree with you, Yeshua is indeed our example in all things...
Well said. Thank you for posting that.
Since you like all radical Muslims, only want your side to be heard, sounds to me like you have much more in common with them than any Christian group I know of - except maybe for the WBC.
Sorry, I was meaning to include on #1047. :)
Wow!...... so Rood was outed by an Arbritration Board for stealing/theft lying and and false witnessing.....
Additionally failing to account for his expenses..and taking money out of collections, from donors and a host of other thefts!
Why am I not surprised!
Cynical bear..the guy is a worse shyster then thought...tried to sue the people he was working with and vice versa...the board found out all the evidence pointed agains Rood as just the man we’ve been saying he is...and these folks aren’t the first...he’s had other run ins with others.
The guys like a career criminal only within the religious circut!...ISool has a great link to the Abritration story.
I think at this point the thread is pretty clear where the truth is...and who is on the side of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I just read an interesting report about Rood being found a thief and liar when it came to all the evidence reported to an arbitration board. It was a interesting read as the usual when there's a power grab gone bad, which apparently Rood attempted and failed to accomplish....however the evidence proved he was the culprit when all was said and done.
So that's why Jesus was born and died on the Cross...So God could become a widower and get married again...Now I get it...
Every congregation that Paul visited and wrote to was a synagogue of the dispersed northern Israelites spread out along the northern rim of the Mediterranean.
Paul was told by the Lord to go only to the uncircumcision while the other 12 were told to go only to the circumcision...
So the Sadducees must have been the circumcision while Israel had to be the uncircumcision...That kinda messes up your little theory, doesn't it???
No, Yeshuas Kingdom will be the entire world, and his people will be both kingdoms united, not the Jews.
Israel and Judah will be united and they will be called Jews...
Do you not understand that the Colossians were Israelites that were being persecuted, both by the pagans they lived among, and by Pharisees, and that Paul was encouraging them to continue in their observance of Torah that was the object of their persecution? (Yes, all of satans people hate Torah)
You want to dig up some scripture from Colossians that show Paul was encouraging someone to continue an observance of the Torah??? Act 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
And you are either blind or just as big of a fake and liar as your fellows here.
I've never said any such thing, as a matter of fact, I was one of the first to say that there just isn't enough evidence or understanding to know for certain about the mystery of the 'trinity'.
When you stoop to bearing false witness on someone, don't act all shocked when they call you out on it. We've come to realize that you're not nearly the miss goody two shoes you pretend to be at times when it suits your scheming.
Btw, the next time you talk about me, or anyone else for that matter in a post, have the common decency to include us in the recipient bar, please...
ARAM poured money into Rood's account and paid his credit card charges, but had no idea how much of it Rood was using for legitimate ministry expenses and how much was lining his own pockets.<<
And then this.
The Arbitration Board provides a long list of Michael Rood's false dealings and accusations which include:
And it just goes on and on;
Rood returned checks people made out to ARAM at six of his speaking engagements because he could not deposit them into his own or ARAMI's accounts. By returning checks to donors, he was denying ARAM money intended for them. And by returning checks that were made as payments for ARAM materials, "Michael was in effect giving away materials that did not belong to him"
And there are people who fall for this shyster. Sounds more like a thief and deceiver. Anyone who wants to know what kind of person Rood is can see on that site for sure.
That cant be!!! The Rood people tell us that Paul taught people to follow the Torah. snicker
There's your problem... Read starting about Ex 19/20 to see what YHWH shouted down from the mountain in the midst of the blasts of trumpets and thunder and lightning.
the people heard the ten directly from the mouth of YHWH.
Exo 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,
[...]
Exo 20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
Exo 20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
Exo 20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
Exo 20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.
Learn Yom Teruah
The ten commandmets were never seperated from all the other Commandments for Israel.
To be sure, ALL the commandments are one thing - But that which the Hebrews heard DIRECTLY from the mouth of YHWH have significance.
ROFLOL!!! So you are the contentious one ey? ROFLOL!!
