Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.
Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Now, after more than 40 years in the making, The Chronological Gospels is complete with all of the extensive parenthetical clauses accurately assigned throughout the book of The Revelation.
Now, with its impending fulfillment looming large on the horizon, The Revelation can finally be understood with clarity and lived with integrity. This one feature (the parenthetical clauses in The Revelation) in The Chronological Gospels is worth one thousand times the price of the book itself.
Join Michael Rood for the first of the last four teachings on the very last book of the Bible, Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come).
I am trying to keep the Holy Days of YHWH.
I am trying to keep the eternal Torah of YHWH.
Do. Or do not. There is no try.....
*TRYING* doesn't cut it. Jesus commanded us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect.
One sin is all it takes to condemn us and a lifetime of otherwise perfect righteous living, if it were possible, could not erase, cancel, or earn forgiveness, for the debt we owe for that one sin.
God doesn't love us more if we keep the Torah and less if we don't.
While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He reached down to us, who deserve nothing but death and hell for the sin we commit, and saves us, based on nothing more than His nature and His grace and mercy.
Acts 15, Galatians 3, Romans 14, all address the law and our relationship to it.
We are not under the law that we have to obey it because in Christ, we have died to the law and are not under it's power or penalty any more. It is not binding on the person who is dead to it through Christ.
We DON'T have to obey it and obeying it will not make God love us more nor make us love God any more.
That's what freedom is all about.
So, which of the 613 laws that God handed down to Moses to we have to obey and which one are we exempt from obeying and why?
Have you stoned anyone for adultery lately?
Offered a sacrifice for an unintentional sin?
Show yourself to the priest for skin diseases?
You got that right! Vile stuff it is..and not by the spirit of The Biblical Jesus.
Well put! Trying indeed! Hypocrits is the operative word.
>> “Ezekiel knew nothing of the NT church.” <<
.
Your NT “church” is an imaginary Dispy creation.
The Congregation, or assembly, that Yeshua and Paul spoke of is exactly who Ezekiel was prophesying about. The Congregation was the lost sheep of the House of Israel, and the “Mystery” was how he was to make her his bride again without breaking Torah’s prohibition on her remarriage. That is the point of Romans 7.
Every congregation that Paul visited and wrote to was a synagogue of the dispersed northern Israelites spread out along the northern rim of the Mediterranean.
>> “Those prophecies deal with the Millennial Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven where Jesus will finally be the King of the Jews in person.” <<
.
Really? - Just the ‘Jews?’
No, Yeshua’s Kingdom will be the entire world, and his people will be both kingdoms united, not “the Jews.”
Most of the population of the dominant nations of this world are “The House of Israel.” That was prophesied by Jacob on his death bed, and it has been fulfilled.
You post scriptures of which you fail to demonstrate any understanding.
Do you not understand that the Colossians were Israelites that were being persecuted, both by the pagans they lived among, and by Pharisees, and that Paul was encouraging them to continue in their observance of Torah that was the object of their persecution? (Yes, all of satan’s people hate Torah)
.
The Tanakh is FULL of the 'church' Your confusion is simply because 'assembly' or 'congregation' has been given the name 'church' in the NT. There is no difference between the synagogue and the church. The 'assembly' passed through the Read Sea, and sat at the foot of Sinai. Where the 'assembly' is distinct from the church is another sort of assembly - That of the discipleship of a Rabbi.
Those prophecies deal with the Millennial Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven where Jesus will finally be the King of the Jews in person...
He is the King of ALL Israel and of the whole earth - And don't forget who is grafted unto whom.
Col 2:13-17
If you study col 2, perhaps you will see the best defense there IS for the Messianic position. Think of new converts being accepted into a discipleship of a Rabbi in Judaism. And know that the angels in 18 are the fallen. And note that 22 refers to the commandments of men, not the Torah... Oh, yeah - and that the Holy Days are shadows of good things TO COME... Hmmm... still have a value, even in Paul's day... Then perhaps you can see better.
Your comment did not address my response....
so....was it not Moses who broke the commandments before they were even given to the people?...further When God delivered them ‘again’ after that.... He added a huge number to those which Israel had to follow...and it is those which must be followed today....
The ten commandmets were never seperated from all the other Commandments for Israel.
>> “Do. Or do not. There is no try.....
*TRYING* doesn’t cut it. Jesus commanded us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect.” <<
.
You have become the penultimate Hypocrite!
Trying is exactly what Yeshua begged all of us to do with his every word. That is what is meant by “Writing his Torah on our hearts.” That is the very source of the effort to obey, and his grace is reserved for those alone.
.
Why do they have to be grafted in if they are all of the nation of Israel to start with? Scripture constantly speaks against your words.
>> “The ten commandments were never separated from all the other Commandments for Israel.” <<
.
Nor for anyone else.
The Torah was always for all of Yehova’s people.
.
You could have saved your effort to post what you don’t understand.
Yeshua demands obedience to all of his commandments. He didn’t leave a single one out. He also explained that Love was the basis of each and every one of them, yet you choose to despise them anyway.
.
I will always oppose those such as Rood, and those who promote him, for they do not spread the message of the Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ which He taught us to do. They spew a mixed Gospel which Jesus clearly spoke against and warned about.
What makes Rood such a distasteful individual is he's making merchandise of people while he grows and invests innocent peoples monies in his empire. Not much different then those who have milked the public of millions to build theirs.
Rood is a menace and far fringe element of the True Messianic Jewish Community... as he seeks to steal sheep from the flock and snatch those close to His Salvation away from Christ.
His teachings lead people away from Christ and the Freedom they could enjoy and places them in bondage to rules and regulations Jesus freed us from.
>> “Why do they have to be grafted in if they are all of the nation of Israel to start with?” <<
.
Read Hosea, and Ezekiel 37.
Scripture does constantly speak against all of your words if you bother to read it.
.
....”Yeshua demands obedience to ALL of his commandments”....
Well then your in a heap of trouble since there are over 600 you need to apply....you have no choice since you choose to be under the law.
Wow doing your Daddy’s work on overtime!
Repentance is your only avenue, if he chooses to open it up to you.
.
You're the one who has tried to make this thread and others all about the messenger.
I've offered you countless times to show us where Michael Rood veered outside the scripture and hundreds and hundreds of posts later you still haven't been able to show us, all the while still bearing false witness not only against Michael Rood, but also mocking and ridiculing his ministry which seeks to spread the Word of the Almighty - straight from the gospels - to the four corners of the globe.
It's unthinkable to me that anyone who calls themselves a Christian would actually stoop to such lowdown and extreme efforts that you have gone to on these threads purely to harm this much needed work.
The only explanation that makes sense to me, is that you are possessed by Satan himself, and are indeed doing his work; certainly you are not doing the work of the Almighty - that's for sure.
>> “Well then your in a heap of trouble since there are over 600 you need to apply” <<
Give up on CB’s lies, he doesn’t need you to repeat them.
Read Matthew chapter 7.
It was written especially for you.
.
You have been the big attacker here, so be proud, I guess.
.
Under the Torah, man has to provide his own righteousness...
Under the grace of God, God provides the righteousness and offers it as a free gift...
