Now I want to tell you something I was born and raised in New York, Hannity said. I want you to know that and I cant wait to get out of here. I really cant. I dont want to pay their 10-percent state tax anymore. I live in the second-highest property taxed county in the entire country in Nassau County. I cant wait to sell my house to somebody who wants it. I cant wait to pay no state income tax down in Florida or Texas. I havent decided yet, but Im leaning Florida because I like the water and I like to fish.

Gov. Cuomo, Im going to leave and Im taking all of my money with me every single solitary penny, he added. And by the way governor, because I work here theres a whole bunch of people that work for me and benefit because I do two shows. And I guess maybe some of them will be out of work, governor. Im sure youll take care of them.

Hockeytown, USA. LOL
Uh. “Watch out Hannity since New York likes to [keep] audit[ing] people who have means [after they leave]. Just ask Rush.”
Sarah I am in the same boat. Thinking of moving to Destin. My family that I grew up in all voted for bambi so I rarely talk to them
LOL!
most conservative county in Texas?
Now that’s what I call taking a stand. /s
No doubt. The studio isn’t going with him.
Yes, FOX moving out would be BIG. Talk about the ground shifting, in NYC. This needs to happen.
Speaking of Rush, do you remember the last booger eating moron governor of NY, the blind guy, who basically said "good riddance" to Rush. Rush's response was, I'm leaving and taking all those tax dollars I've been paying with me!
That shut him up pretty quickly, and he never mentioned it again, though NY state keeps on auditing Rush.

Detroit is a great town for sports too. Tigers and Lions right downtown, Hockey and Basketball aren’t far away. There’s powerboat racing on the river and air racing above it with Indy car racing on Belle isle. MIS is over here about an hour away.
I have too many admirers here on FR to tell you in public where I will “land” first (it won’t be too far outside Detroit). But I want to live in the city. I want to have goats.
If Hannity really wanted to do something smart...he would leave the growing-liberal and pro-terrorist Fox News.
If he hasn’t figured that Ailes, Murdoch, and Prince Alwaleed bin Talal aren’t already pushing him out now, he is pretty foolish
Getting out of NY is a start...maybe next he bolts Faux News
I lived in Texas in the 60’s. For me it’s just too darned hot. And too cold in the winter (lived near Fort Worth). And, truth be told, if there was no such thing as air conditioning, I wouldn’t live in KY. In Seattle, AC for your house was not really necessary. Here it is an absolute requirement. In your car, too.
But it’s amazingly green and beautiful here. And the roads! It is a motorcyclists paradise.
TARP was paid back, years ago, at a profit to the Treasury. HARP had nothing to do with Wall Street and was a huge failure.
QE doesn't involve taxpayer dollars. It does transfer interest income from the banks to the Fed (Treasury).
Just be judiciously practiced enough that one mag will be more than plenty.
Georgia has a state income tax and high gas taxes.
Florida and Texas have no state income tax.
Don’t know. I would guess most anywhere that isn’t in a big city.
They do have a state income tax though.
In my travels, that just means another extra added layer of potential government corruption is in play.
But your friend was probably right to advise you to move there.
It's a nice place to transition to from a blue state, and learn that it's up to you to make new friends.
For myself, the choice was always either Florida or Georgia.
If I ever win a lottery, I seriously would consider moving north to south Georgia.
My neighbor’s grandson has started to use my term “Urban Frontier” to try to get others from his company to take the transfer from NY.
Play your cards right and you might build a fairly profitable black market selling goat meat to the arabs in the area.
