They are not in the market for someone incompatible with their own physical, mental, and spiritual assets, yet they are in the market.

I see you are another of the humor and sarcasm deficient FReepers.

Actually, I did get that you were making a joke, else I would never have recommended (*shudder*) the College Democrats.

I know the obesity epidemic and the unholy hell of feminism has spanned a couple of generations now, but are you actually trying to say that middle-aged women can't be thin and pretty? Because I'd like to assert that they can - I've seen them - and there would be plenty more like them if more ladies would take a break from sucking down Ho-Hos while whining about thyroid problems.

Everyone please refer to this chart carefully. All the answers to the Meaning of Life are contained in this graph. :)
Young women desperately need to be given a copy of this when they turn 18, because Time is Fleeting...

Ive got a very nice pontoon boat (24 Manitou SHP. 41.1 mph top end. Very maneuverable. Two live wells, very comfortable to fish or ski in. All the bells and whistles.) With a very good motor (175 HP Yamaha).
Just dont have the good woman to ride it with me. :)
You’re trolling too fast——or too slow....

The best place for a mate would probably be within the realm of one’s social activities.

Heh! I’m glad someone looked at it.
It’s interesting to decipher, for sure.

He is in his mid fifties. So looing all the way down to mid forties, which is pretty middle-aged, to the point of it being the middle to end of menopause for many women. Which ads to coarsening of features and thickening of mid line for many. Ho hos aside. Women look lovely at any age, but a slim lovely longhaired woman is usually a lot younger than forty.

Very true. I love the scene in Shenandoah where the young man asks Jimmy Stewart's character for his daughter's hand in marriage and Jimmy Stewart says “Why?”. The important question was “Do you like her?”

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I've heard that some women actually read the obituaries to see who is newly single. My husband has a relative who is always trying to matchmake, and he's put the word out already that if he survives me she is to leave him alone.

I'm in my early fifties thank you very much!
I am working on getting into even better shape (I'm down from 230. Still 20 pounds to go (For the record I do count myself as almost grotesquely obese, even if I am just 20 over my ideal weight)). I bike, hike and kayak as well as play team sports when I can.
I have met MANY women in their 40's and fifties who are slim, pretty and have long hair. But as I said, they are married or engaged.
Just because someone gets older is no reason they have to get fat Again I know a bunch of "older" women in good shape.
Likewise, just because someone gets older is no reason to cut their hair short.
