Welcome!
I appreciate your opinion!
Fresh catnip and dog pee... not sure if that would sell as a scented toy though. Would require a creative ad campaign, or a snake oil salesman in the Bill Clinton genre. But that does remind me that since we have reached the end of the growing season, I need to 'put up' some catnip for winter, since we won't have any livegreen until next globul warmthing cycle more or less next April...
I’ve seen that. And smelled the flowers and plants opening in the rain upwind hundreds of miles away too far to see even a cloud... and the rain may end before it ever blows down when to you... But the smell of rain on the wind is unmistakable. After you been in the desert a while the smell of rain coming is about the most delicious thing.
Another weird thing I’ve seen in the desert is that sometimes when it snows, you’ll actually have lightning in a snowstorm. Never seen that any place else.
We haven’t succeeded in growing catnip, but we got a big jar at Petsmart, and Jake says it still smells good. Sometimes I have to catch myself before I put it in soup, instead of oregano.
That picture could be all of America if things don’t change soon.....
I hear you.
Agreed.
Jeez. FR should have an Octagon for the personal issues out there. Contribute $100 get the video lol
No, No.. we need a FReeper’s Court!! datada-dumdumdum
Stuff grows like crazy around here. It should grow down south where you are.. I don't have any seed (or if there is any left on the plants it's not much..) cause I never had to plant any, but I could take a look and if I can scrounge up enough to bother I could accidentally mail you some (so that the USPS drug-sniffing cat will 'alert' on the envelope... ;-)

Well, it it's oregano flavor you want, best grab the oregano. But using catnip might just start a new seasoning fad... I'm sure it wouldn't hurt (other than NOT tasting like oregano.)
Methinks I read/heard somewhere about catnip tea having some value - not sure what it would taste like though... ;-)
We have catnip seeds somewhere ... in whatever secure location I put all the stray seeds when I cleared up the kitchen the last time.
To me, catnip smells like dust.
We used to call that "gazintas."
Lol!
I’ve heard of that. He seems to have assimilated the concept reasonably well. He can practice more next week.
There's something you actually haven't tasted? I count on you as the gustatory authority, y'know.
Love those white fluffy flakes. Makes great detergent.
