Looks like I’ll have to refold the coloring page to fit into a smaller envelope. By the time it gets to you, it will have so many folds it will look like a "cootie catcher!"

Cootie catchers took a bit of skill to operate.

However, thanks to that early training, displaying the Vulcan Salute presented no difficulty. "Live long, and avoid cooties."

And, our schools had a fun way to deal with cootie infestations.

Colleges have learned that even students with top test scores often need to develop writing skills in the first year. Appalachian State has a writing tutorial center where staff and volunteers will provide the same kind of help I'm giving Tom ... although they wouldn't do a full rewrite just because he procrastinated!

Not the old school remedy... some naphtha mixed into the shampoo (or shaved bar soap and water goo)...

100% effective, but just a tad irritating to the scalp (and other portions of your anatomy...) And don't ask about the tapeworm remedy. ;-)

Poor Santana and Baby: DP gave them nutritious processed lizard-chow this morning, and they both turned up their noses and crawled in their holes. Tomorrow I’ll make sure they get some vegetables.

Hubby found Kingsoft for me, which is also free, and has a 5 star rating. It seems to work well.

I think the lack of question marks was caused by me touching the wrong 2 keys on my keyboard. I did a restart and it reset itself. This new computer has windows 8 and it’s taking a long time to figure out.

Thanks for whatever you can send to me. They will be sent on to the Troops. I plan to make lots of Paracord Survival Bracelets, and will check with local craft shops for clasps. The bracelets are macramé, and I can do it with my eyes closed!

Well then..

I guess a foldedpaperthingie would work just fine on them..

But the olde tyme remedy does work on the non-imaginary ones.. And we did have a couple of classmates way back when Ike was president and the Korean war was barely over that were exceptionally lousy. And they weren't too bright either.. They got the treatment.

(Hey, it was a rural environment. Don't need none of that cityslicker new fangled stuff. This worked for my granpappy and it'll work on m'kids. And it did..) Now, you sure you don't want to know about the tapeworm treatment???
