Oh, I’ve got to move a few rooms of furniture around this week. Can’t say moving things made me smile; especially heavy things.

A pop-culture trope I’ve missed, although I’m sure someday Elen will discover it. Unnngh.

Some episodes were well written.
Others were just plain stupid.
Gacknar was funny as everyone thought the “fear demon” was huge etc.
Turned out he was about the size of our summoned sea monsta facing of with the cat there.

Some episodes were well written. Others were just plain stupid.Sounds like any long-running series, except the ones where every episode is stupid ;-). The thing about the "fear demon" is good psychology, though.

I found the premise of Stargate Universe to be interesting.
The execution sukt.
They tried to make it “as the world turns:space edition”.
And it is impossible to make good sci fi and have it be a darn soap opera too.
Either one facet or the other suffers.
And the darn shakey cam from battlestar Galactica was way overdone.

I couldn’t watch “Battlestar Galactica” because of the crazy filming.

They used it for Stargate Universe too.
Annoyed the crap out of me.

It’s the latest thing. I profoundly dislike it. Maybe the fad will pass and directors will just be able to show action again, someday. It worked for John Ford, after all.

One movie it worked in was “Outlander”, and it worked because it was used in the crash scene only.
And it wasn’t as bad or “ADHD” in that movie as in other shows.
Recent shows act as if the camera is attached to a six year old who has been dosed with sugar and amphetamines before turning him loose.

It’s 190% alcohol. Mostly used by pharmacists who make their own concoctions, but it is used for “recreation.” One shot is enough to put you down and out!

They say reCALCulating! when their murder attempts go awry. Is it my imagination, or do they say it in a very ticked-off tone? It's the only time my GPS becomes recalcitrant.

I figured there was another book hiding somewhere in your brain. At least one. I mean, you keep churning out poetry, so there must be a LOT more words in there, waiting their turns to be gainfully employed by the entertainment division.
