Maytag has really gone downhill since we lost Jesse White.
There is no Maytag any more. It was bought out by Whirlpool. It may have the name, but the quality is LONG gone.
There was a day when the only appliances I bought were Maytag. HAH! Not any more.
The house is inspected and approved for electric hook-up but it might not happen until tomorrow. Gonna need some light bulbs!!
what the heck kind of thinking is that, wow.
heh
wow.
Come to think of it, order soda at a fast food place and its 90% ice. You hardly get any soda even in a 64 oz cup.
Tell them to hold the ice...
One time I got curious and got soda without ice and it came out of the machine cold! What is the point of the ice?
The ice is to dilute the soda so they don’t sell so much SODA! Ice is cheaper to sell...
yep, a cup full of ice and a price like its full of soda
We’ve been joking since the other day about what someone who refuses to work certain jobs could do for money.
We obviously got inventive.
Can they plumb this house?
The PEX hose is out back. No sign of plumbers today.
Not even a sagging pants circle
why? what happened?
I just got a new hard drive, and have been running OK for a few days, today I decided to load up Bootcamp and try to run Win XP.
Well, OSX 10.8.5 doesn’t support XP, only Win 7.
BUT you can load Bootcamp without Win 7, then upload the XP drivers and run XP.
BUT you need to load the Bootcamp Files onto a thumb drive to do this.
BUT you need to reformat the thumb drive to a single FAT partition.
BUT we won’t tell you how to do this.
BUT if you find the directions on the interwebs and do it, we will allow you to load the Bootcamp files on the thumb drive eventually.
BUT when you are ready to actually partition your main hard drive into an OSX and Windoze partitions, you will be warned to back up everything first.
BUT when you go to back up you files on your 1T Seagate Backup Plus, it blandly tells you that the drive is now read only. Even though you’ve successfully stored most of your files on it before your internal hard drive died.
BUT that’s OK the Seagate web site tells you to simply use your disk utility to change your permissions to allow you to write to the remaining empty 800+GB of disk space.
BUT the disk utility won’t allow you to click on the First Aid button.
BUT that’s OK, you can reformat the back up disk and start over.
BUT if you do you will lose everything you so meticulously saved, that is to say, your entire digital life.
S'posed to ping the people you're talking about. I'm sure 'Face would love company in the kitchen, since her gears are getting whiny.
Darksheare could help with the robot in the kitchen idea. He'd have articulated arms reaching down from the central range hood/pot-and-cutlery hanging device, each with its own scary-looking implement.
Imagine two shiny stainless steel arms descending over the cutting board, preparing vegetables, while a third sedately stirred a simmering pot.
Ok except for one minor, um, errata...
Nothing Darksheare dreams up does things sedately...
wow.
That is messed up.
Why is it so hard to do a partition in OSX?
LOL
Well leave me the chore of piping the sprinklers for you. I’ve done that. I can’t weld copper plumbing and here in CA we can’t use the new flex hose stuff.
It probably isn’t.
I’m not laughing. Oh no, I’m not!!!
