Brother and SiL are safely tucked away somewhere in CO at the moment, getting over jet-lag; SiL DID have cardiac surgery in Istanbul, and since they always buy travel insurance, the medical expenses and flight back were paid for, as well as a nurse for the duration until they got back to CO.
*BIG sigh of relief*
It’s getting a motherboard. I don’t know how long it will take.
The van has to go back to the dealer again tomorrow. They had the wrong part for the seatbelt.

If there is a little microphone at the bottom of your texting screen, just press it and speak into your phone. It doesn’t punctuate, but will print what it hears. Faster and easier...and no auto-co wrecks!

Thanks! My brother and SiL have been married so long she’s like another sister, so I don’t take lack of information lightly.
Come to find out, most of the info was on his blog, but I lost my password and Hotmail account to access it several years ago through phishing. I had to re-do the whole thing.
But I wouldn’t have known it was there if it weren’t for another sibling.
So. I will make sure to follow him closely in the future. I guess they are done traveling the world! LOL!

I drink lots of water because I don’t like sweet drinks. I would drink Dad’s Rootbeer as a kid, but my soft drink of choice was actually Squirt, even at 5 years of age.
I drink so much water that I have one of those 64 oz insulated mugs from one of the gas stations here, and usually fill it 3-4 times by the end of the day. Ice water, summer AND winter! And I think this is my fourth jug in as many years.
True! But there should be a voice app for the phone. It’s so much easier to speak than it is for me to type with my arthritic fingers, it’s almost fun to text!
But no shortcuts...it doesn’t do “u,” “r,” “ur,” “thx.” But that’s OK...
(Someone let in a fly today, and I can’t find my swatter!!!)
I bet one of the big boys can show you how find that capability, if they quit bickering long enough...
Maybe even Patrick could find it, he’s so clever.
This is a pad, not a phone. It’s so annoying. On my real keyboard, I can type whole essays in the time it takes to say lol on this!
Ohdang. Too bad. Your phone probably has the capability. Or did you trade the phone for the pad?
