The Republican National Committee, already threatening to block CNN and NBC from hosting 2016 primary debates if they air planned features on Hillary Clinton, is also looking to scrap the old model of having reporters and news personalities ask the questions at candidate forums.

This I would watch LOL!
Would love to see Rush, in the debate moderators chair. Smoking a cigar.
Now Senator.. you said...
Sheesh - not Hannity..he’ll attempt to make it all about him.
They are no more right than , say, Candy Crowely is left.
Judge Janine?
What a brilliant idea!!
Oh, wait......some writer’s been advocating this for years:
Now THAT I’ll watch.
A true must watch would be for those two to question dim-bulb-crat candidates.
Both have equal capabilities to slice, dice, chop and puree the Hillabeast and her ill-talented compatriots.
The problem with that idea is ‘distribution’ or ‘viewership’.
Which network(s) would carry such debates? If the RNC disses network newsies, those networks would probably decline broadcasting.
The major outlets are pro-Dem. They direct the agenda with their own moderators.

RNC may be shooting itself in the foot. They should have been considering such alternatives years ago.

Mark Steyn should be the moderator for one of the presidential debates.

Potential debate moderators for the PRIMARY.
Republicans will allow Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann and Huma Aberdin to moderate the General Election debates.
Where the hell was the RNC last year?? Oh, right. Mr. nicey nicey go along was the nominee, and therefore the head of the party. And he got duped by Candy Cruller. Dope!
Please, not Hannity. He is unlistenable....
Or, even worse, he [Hannity] will talk over them while they are answering the question.
Hannity is NOT a fav :)
Levin at least is hip to this. He sees it as a brazen attempt to co-opt him and get him to shut up. Just like the time they offered Rush that spot on the sitcom with Markie Post.
Of the three Hannity is the one who appears to be under the most pressure, and hence most likely to accept.
How about a town hall format?
They should do this anyway! Why does the RNC think Stephanopoulos, etc, are better moderators for a Republican primary debate?!!!
This is just for the Primary. RNC should insist on conservative moderators for the Hilary vs Cruz debates.
