Eric Holder, who committed perjury when giving testimony to Congress about the AP-tapping scandal, has agreed to talk to the press. He only has one condition: it must be off-the-record, and no one outside of the room must ever know what happened.
In response, the New York Times has decided to boycott the presser, with Executive Editor Jill Abramson stating, "It isnt appropriate for us to attend an off the record meeting with the attorney general."
Well, the Democrat party is none-too-pleased with the NY Times' stand. In fact, Democratic Party Communications Director Brad Woodhouse decided to not only lash out at the Times, but also at press rights as a whole.
Writing on Twitter, he declared that if the press does not want to attend the secret meeting that no one must ever know about, then they "forfeit [their] right gripe" about illegal activity that Eric Holder conducts:

Can you imagine if George Bush had asked for “off the record” private meetings with the press?????? with these kinds of conditions?
Then threatened them with ‘losing’ their rights if they didn’t comply?
For the list?
Must be in the Dean Wormer "Double Secret Probation" clause ...
Who is the bureau chief for Fox News? They ought to make Rosen the chief just for the day.
The NYT should promise not to tell then print what Holder said verbatim. If Holder complains tell him it furthers the NYT agenda.
A pergurer would understand and respect that.
Maybe some people at the Times finally understand the stakes here.
It’s hard to believe that the WH or its minions are so confident and arrogant that they’d send out a taunt like this.
They should all refuse to the "requirements" and then do front page/top of the hour stories on it.
Either way...it's going to be serious blowback...
He only has one condition: it must be off-the-record, and no one outside of the room must ever know what happened.
What kind of government does this? Hmmmmmm.....
Need to start a “dead pool” on Holder. How many days until he decides to spend more quality time with his family?
The communications director for the Democrat party? Wow. These guys are falling apart. Secret meetings? Holder works for the taxpayers. I guess he shouldn’t.
I give him till June 8th.
WTF?
What would be the point?
(We can figure out who was there and infer from their actions the meeting's content - if we don't already know.)
Guilty of tapping.
My third grade teacher convicted me of that too, without so much as a jury, and all because of restless leg syndrome.
Serious Blowback??
Are you kidding me? Where’s the /s> tag?
Lest you forget, the kenyan and holder are BLACK.
They ARE the new “untouchables.”
Rush nailed it exactly. Stupid white people are waaayyy too “sceeeerd” to get too pushy with the first black POTUS.
Don’t expect ANYTHING to come of this. Just like the state of Florida WILL crucify Zimmerman, for no reason other than they are “so sceerd” about black riots, they are peeing in their pants.
A white riot if Zimmerman is found guilty?
What kind of fool believes that?
By serious blowback....I mean the media will, even the liberal media, is getting just a little sick of the WH bullying tactics...and will start pushing back...
In the usual Communist takeover, at this point the Party hauls the journalists off to the gulag.
Since that is impractical due to the Constitution, the next best tactic here is a series of “loyalty tests” conducted by the Party to separate loyal propagandists (useful) from the disillusioned Utopians (not useful and possibly harmful).
As these scandals unfold, Obamatollah is watching and making 2 lists.
Better yet, AP should “agree” with Holder. Record the meeting anyway. Then it’s...”Oops somebody leaked. Sorry about that.”
Works for the marxist federal regime. Why not for the bootlickers in the “press”.
