Your Answer When They Come For Your Guns

I have previously written here and here about appropriate tactics for patriots to take (including Christian patriots) when we come to the realization that the current government of our land is tyrannical, and moving in the direction of further, more intensive despotism.

I’d like to add another tactic to that list today; and, that tactic is deception.

I realize that as soon as I suggest that deception is an appropriate tool for the opposition of tyrants, I’m going to lose some of my fellow Christians. However, I beg a patient audience, as I will later try to show that the Bible itself endorses this idea. And when I suggest that Scripture endorses the move to deceive tyrants, I use that word advisedly. I don’t mean to merely say that Scripture allows deception in this case. I mean that the Bible endorses it. It commends it. It holds it up in more than one place as an act of faith.

Especially since we have moved into the Information Age, the American Federal government has sought to become a master collector of information. Information is the new currency, especially in endeavors such as the War on Terror. Information is so important that the government has launched an initiative, with the Utah Data Center, to (in fact) capture every piece of electronic communication that flies through cyberspace...

What makes you believe when they come for our guns and ammo they won’t be coming for us, as well?

The only “registered” items at this household, are cars.

I’m CCW “licensed”, but there is no obligation to follow through with any “purchase”.
So, they may suspect and ask, but then what?

If they start snooping through credit card records, we will have long notice.

Some items “may” show up if they start rummaging through gun store records, but again, we’ll have long notice.

One key, is to have secure, alternate storage, away from your home.

Who would be sent to a house to confiscate the guns? Will this be local police? There aren't enough federal men to do the job.

Now,consider this - this is Texas. The list of who bought a gun is in the files of the store where guns were bought. Then, we have the guns who were bought from individuals and there is no record of that. Guns handed down through the family have no record.

Cops will know the above. Now, two cops are approaching a house where they know a person bought a gun ‘cause they have the record from the store but they don't know if there are other guns there. They know most Texans use their guns at shooting ranges and for animal hunting and their guns are dear to them. What is the fear factor in the heart of those cops? Or, in the heart of a federal agent?

The first cop or federal agent who is killed will put more fear in the cop/fed gun confiscator.

Taking guns in Texas just isn't going to work. There would be blood running in the streets and it would be cop/fed blood. You can say men would be threatened by taking away their jobs if they didn't give up their guns, say anything you want, but most men in this state don't give a damn when their guns are in danger.

Who wants to go to Humblegunner’s house and demand his guns? I rest my case.

Impeach the kenyan or secession.

They’ll be coming after my Class III AR-10s & AR-15s, and Kimber 1911s, the Barrett .50BMG, Remy 870 Tactical, but the private-purchased Remy 1187 Tactical, 1974 Colt Trooper MK III, Henry ‘Big Boy’ .357mag lever, Beowulf .50cal, other AR-10s, AR-15s, plus massive ammo & prepper stockpiles, will be MIA.

You know, I have neighbors that know I hunt and have bagged deer.

I would not put it past them at all to go stukach on me.

I'm going to buy a Windham MPC (AR 15) as soon as I can find one from a reputable dealer.

A couple of grand for a defense (weapon, optics, ammo) that frankly I don't but barely have...is something I will not give up.

With the Obama economy, I may need this to live...to eat.

I dare them to take away my means of living.

They may end up on the menu.;-)

I’ve done some testing with those. Used a cap on one end and the threaded fitting on the other. Put a few cups of flour in it to serve as a water detector. Buried it for a couple weeks in an area slightly above the water table.

The pipes kept the water out but there were traces inside tube. I think from the air trapped in the tube. I plan to use some desiccant, a well lubricated gun, and these bags.

This is the correct response. Do not stand alone, you will be easy to defeat. Organize to provide mass response to stand with your fellow citizens. Not so easy.

“I’m purchasing my PVC pipe next week.”

Whose tagline used to say “When it’s time to bury your guns, it’s time to dig them up.”?

Haven't noticed any public crucifixions or feeding of dissidents to wild animals recently.

Our government is far more insidious than that of the Romans.

It has arranged for 50 million of our children to be murdered by their mothers.

god allows for personal self-defense and the defense of others. there is no duty to allow others to take away that god-given right, they cannot lawfully do that since God gave you and everyone that right, not government. self defense predates all forms of human government.
