I would like to enlist the services of the Prayer Warriors for the grandson of a little girl who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. She's obviously not so little now, but is in need of your prayers.
Keegan James Dondlinger was born yesterday, November 23, 2012, but was due March 4, 2013, three days after my own grandson is due. He weighed 1.85 lbs, but he looks very well developed for being so young and so little.
He's been able to open his eyes, and to grasp his mother's finger.
Just saw this; Hope the surgery went well; will pray for a speedy recovery. God Bless the sweet little tyke.
I don't know many details just that surgery is over and it went well. They are waiting for a room in the PICU. The surgery was supposed to last 4-5 hours but only took 2.
A little later, Keegan's Mom posted
KeeganKeegan is out of surgery and recovering in the picu for the night. is out of surgery and recovering in the picu for the night.
Came with this picture.

Bless his heart. Hopeand pray he continues to improve!
My heart swelled with love when I read this good news and saw the photo of Keegan God love you all.
Thank you for the update. Praise God. He’s adorable.
Mom says he feels a little better but looks a lot worse
JaJaJa
I’m pretty sure that is the TV remote in his hospital room.
But my 7 y/o twin granddaughters were messing with the cell phones about that age, maybe 6 months older. One of them figured out how to order stuff on Amazon, using her Daddy’s unsecured computer.
They each have there own ID on the computer now, without admin privileges.
He looks beautiful to me:)
For those that are wondering, Keegan has been moved from the picu. He seems to be doing fine with pain meds. His upper face is swollen bad enough that one eye is swollen completely shut and the other has a slit that he can still see through. Apparently more swelling is expected. Despite his apperance and limitations he is getting back to himself. This morning a box of cereal brought the joy of Christmas morning. Nothing like food to feel normal. He has also received some gifts: one, a never wrapped box of stackables , the other is wrapped and still yet to be discovered. As of now he is expected to be released Monday or Tuesday.
Since this Free Republic, let me be the first to say:
Wooo Hooo!
Great news.:)
Praise God for daily improvements in that little angel’s condition!
