I first saw this photo of a DUmmie Car posted this morning by Professor William Jacobson over at Legal Insurrection. What really got my attention was the DUmmie bumper sticker among the many other leftwing bumper stickers. Which DUmmie does this car belong to? Since it has a Taxachussets tag, could it be DUmmie Raven?
Whenever I see cars with leftwing bumper stickers I never get mad. I get curious. I always try to see who is driving the car to try to figure out the answer to this question: "What's wrong with you?" Usually I can figure out the answer like the time years ago when I saw a Janet Reno for governor bumper sticker here in Florida. When I got to see the driver I noticed she looked almost exactly like Reno herself. Question answered. I figured out the deal right away.
Anyway for this DUFU edition I am asking the readers to caption the photo of this DUmmie Car. Legal Insurrection has this title over the photo: "I want this person to cry herself to sleep on November 6." Great caption. Here is my entry: ""I Put In An Order For an L-Pill Right After the First Debate."
So what are your captions for this photo?
Caprock, eh? I suspect that we live in the same general area.
Perhaps, we are transplants down in Hobbs. It’s a living I guess!
Every time I see that “Coexist” bumper sticker, I know it’s a liberal. That’s probably the liberal bumper sticker I see most, sans Obama bumper stickers.
Notice how no two stickers are parallel to each other or to the ground? Another demonstration of permanently blurred thinking. You'd think that he could have gotten one of them straight, just by statistical chance.
We stopped in at our favorite grocery store in Lawrence Kansas today to get salads for lunch. We were horrified to see three parking places up front (I’m sure they used to be handicapped spots) for charging your electric car. When we went in, there was a Pius parked there but not plugged in. We were going to go find the manager and complain but I got distracted by two women in burkas with a little girl. I started yelling at them asking if their little girl was going to get fitted for one soon. (she was about 4 and was wearing an adorable little frilly dress.) They pretended not to hear me. When we left there was another car there, not electric. It made me want to go out and buy a big black duelie and park it there.
Neither do I. But its the bumper stickers that tell the story. If you have a Suzuki without them, rest easy.
I never understood bumper stickers. You spend 15K plus on a car and you are gonna slap a 25 cent bumper sticker on it? That is pure insanity! Plus you do not put one on a Camaro, ever, no matter what it is for!
By putting all that crap on there they dropped its resale value from .. uh .. $0 ... to ... uh, never mind.
(Re: Raven....Isn't that Pitts mom? I doubt a limolib like her(or her trustafarina son) would be caught dead in a suzuki forenza.)
It's not ruined, it's now a target-rich environment. If someone plastered a few conservative bumper stickers amid all the BS stickers the owner would never know it.
One makes you interested in something. Two makes you an activist.
Three or more, and you're just a run-of-the-mill kook.
My parents' neighbor had a hippie-dippie daughter who drove a VW Microbus. (yes, sometimes sterotypes are true...) It was covered in bumperstickers, much like this picture.
Occasionally, Dad would make a "nighttime raid" on it, and stick NRA bumperstickers surreptitiously on it.
