I always thought a good business to get into would be tatoo removal. Somebody out there has to regrets their ‘true love’s’ name on their buttocks or other nether regions.

I was 17 when I enlisted in the 1950s Navy and a few months later told my dad that I was thinking about getting a tattoo. Thankfully, he said he’d pound me into jelly if I did so. I quit thinking about it.

Later on I ran into a shipmate who had dotted lines around his neck with the words “Cut here”. I stayed away from him.

I’m an electrical engineer w/o a tattoo and make lots more than six figs. We are always grateful for the net admins and other computer types because we need someone on whose social skills we can look down. (i kid, I kid).
