Judge Andrew Napolitano, host of Fox's Freedom Watch was unceremoniously dumped from the network this week. Napolitano says in a Facebook posting that it was nothing out of the ordinary and to please not email Fox demanding his reinstatement. According to the Judge, these things happen all the time and are ratings inspired. Watch the two videos linked here and let us know if you think his termination was purely economic.
The fact is, Judge Napolitano was calling out the powers that be. He casting light on the fact that the political parties only have their well-being at heart, not yours. That the system is completely broken and that the government is out of control and a threat to us all. He highlighted the futility of the candidates this electoral go-round and pointed to Ron Paul as being authentic, honest, consistent and all too often right. If these acts and words earned the Judge a discharge, then it was a well earned one indeed.
We wish the Judge and his family the best and pray for his well being.
I got tired of each show turning into a Ron Paul ad.
Willard should promise to appoint Ron Raul Sec. of Treasury.

This is precisely why we need a REAL conservative network.
With Fox moving farther to the left all the time, we have no real representation on the tube anymore.
How I wish a conservative consortium would make an offer for ratings-starved CNN which should be available at fire sale prices. The current crowd could be dumped and the place re-staffed with real talkers and thinkers of the right.
This is terrible. I liked the guy, even if I think Ron Paul is a bit beyond the pale.

I like them, but don’t want to hear 1 hr of “Ron Paul”.
To enact their ideas in a strict sense would only embolden our enemies and make us more vulnerable. Our extra "freedoms" would be short lived. Just as we romanticize the good ole days, we forget FDR rounding up the "Japs" in America and executing the Nazi infiltrators with a sham trial. "Those were the days" most of us would recall, but a libertarian would be foaming at the mouth and calling for revolution.
Back in my C-band days, I used to watch a conservative network run by Paul Weyrich. I think it was called America's Voice. I'd like to see something like it again.
Napolitano had a love of the Constitution over and above any concerns for god, family and country. Which is basically what a libertarian is.
MSNBC says Buchanan is a racist and fires him. But they hired Sharpton. MSNBC does not pass the smell test.
It baffles me why Rush Limbaugh does not create a Conservative news station on cable. Unless he is a phony.
Are we losing are freedoms or not? If the answer is yes and we’ve had divided government for quite a while now, then obviously the parties are not serving the cause of freedom. Is the country in a depression and are we seeing the economy collapse? What is either party doing about it and what are their plans? Answer nothing at all, but lining their own pockets and destroying any semblance of a free market.
Is your solution more of the same, more left-right bs? More rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic? Right now there is absolutely no politician who wants to address the route causes of our country’s decline, except Ron Paul. Now I don’t agree with his foreign policy rantings, but which do you think will be better able to defend the country, a bankrupt government that tries to do way too much, or a dramatically scaled down government that goes back to the concepts of limited government?
Is the country better off printing up money to infinity and having the debt go parabolic, of do we reassess and go back to very limited government and a fixed money supply, if not gold backed? Cause there’s really no choice. The current path leads to economic, societal and world economic collapse that could throw us into another dark ages or take us someplace where we really don’t want to be.
I’m not pushing Paul for President, only his economic ideas.
Fox says it was a financial decision i.e. they did not want to have two shows competing, FNN and FFN. That is a joke. What did they think they were getting on the financial network from a show billed as “Freedom Watch”. No, the only financial end of this was the show competed directly with the Mohammad Ali of the era, the self proclaimed number one in cable. So, the Judge got axed. I used to be really POed when he used to be a guest on BOR’s show only to be belittled by the man who is such a egomanic to make even Ali’s self promoting seem amaturest. I would have loved to see His Excellency grilled by Judge Nap than by BOR, at least it would not be a public ass kissing on live TV.
He hears that from me on a regular basis.
He complains about media bias as much as anyone but seems resigned to it.
I’ve asked him how he can do the tea business and not explore the possibility of creating a true conservative network. No reply so far.
(I think that the tea thing is his wife’s “little business.” She seems to be its honcho. A network might be a stretch for them. But a good manager and solid participants would help that problem as well as provide us with a huge service)
Whoever wins the nomination should promise that. Or, even better, make him Fed Chairman. That'd really roil things up.
He couldn’t form a corporation with Hannity and other conservatives with a little money and then seek backing for it.
I don’t watch FOX news anymore and I missed most of the early days of FOX news because I didn’t have cable. But I remember when they were a solidly conservative news outlet with a few token liberals. They have more liberals than conservatives now and too many like Hannity are just GOP shills rather than fight-until-you-die conservatives.
Maybe I can answer my own question when I recall Rush saying he was going to stop “carrying the water for the GOP.” Sadly, that has never stopped.
The liberals stick to their guns and are driving the Democrat party to the left and have been doing so for at least 90 years.
The conservatives just capitulate to the GOP and move to the center.
It is really sickening. Rush bores me. Hannity is a sell-out. And Fox news is unwatchable.
If it wasn’t for the internet, and specifically Free Republic, I would be screwed.
