I've tried to be libertarian 2 or 3 times but just couldn't make it past their stupidity. I like about 3/4 of what they stand for but they always get back to free drugs, defending people who blow up buildings, and other such nonsense. I just settle for being a conservative, but libertarianism is just too close to anarchy for me. I liked Stossel and Napolitano, but it wasn't something I set my DVR for. I liked Glen Beck very much, but he also leaned heavily for libertarian ideas.

To enact their ideas in a strict sense would only embolden our enemies and make us more vulnerable. Our extra "freedoms" would be short lived. Just as we romanticize the good ole days, we forget FDR rounding up the "Japs" in America and executing the Nazi infiltrators with a sham trial. "Those were the days" most of us would recall, but a libertarian would be foaming at the mouth and calling for revolution.

Can you direct me to some info on the libertarian call for “free drugs?”
