Glenn Beck’s thorough interview with GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich Tuesday morning has gained traction in political news outlets throughout the day. Jim Geraghty of The National Review tweeted ”Bravo for a hard, fair, respectful, but deeply revealing interview of Newt!” and Glynnis MacNicol of the Business Insider writes that Beck “grilled” Gingrich in “a way conservative voters who are seriously considering voting for Newt should be eager to hear.”

We just have a difference of opinion then, because I honestly believe Newt has seen the light, and as a Christian I am obligated to forgive fellow Christians of their past transgressions.
Romney on the other hand is first of all not a Christian, and secondly I don’t trust a SINGLE thing he says about anything. He has never once explained why he has supposedly flipped from all his old liberal positions like being pro abortion. What I want to know is.. what EXACTLY, what event in particular made Romney see the light on abortion? Until I hear Romney tell about some sort of come to Jesus moment, I will continue to disregard anything and everything he says as just a desperate attempt to be president from someone who will do or say anything he thinks it will take to achieve that goal, regardless of what his truth beliefs are.
Show me the business model that accounts for the ever-increasing medical expenses of seniors while those same people are usually on a fixed income.
If you want to say ‘ef ‘em and throw them to their own devices, OK - but don’t expect to win any elections.
Well, I’ve got a 1000 times the problems with Romney. If it boils down to Newt vs Romney the way it’s shaping up to be, I’m with Newt all the way!!

You are brain-dead if you have not made the connection that anything government takes over becomes astronomically expensive while the quality falls off a cliff.
In the fifties medical costs were 5% of GDP. Then along came Medicaid/Medicare and mandatory free health care for illegals, not to mention Compassionate Entry. Now they are almost 20%.
In the 1950s education spending was 3% of GDP. Then along came the Department of Education and they are now 15%. Plus, the literacy rate of graduates has plummetted.
RK surgery to fix astigmatism is not covered by medical insurance or Medicaid. That's why it gets cheaper every year.
When you are spending your own money, you watch every penny. When you are spending somebody else's money, what do you care what it costs?
Hear hear, we both share the same frustration.
I hope we're not a dying breed, what we have to overcome seems insurmountable...50 years of indcrinisation and woosification of men, it almost seems impossible....it will not be changed over night, progressivism works both ways though, therefore I will support a step in the right direction.

2). Michele Bachmann
3). Herman Cain

I have great respect for your service to America and for all you've done in advancing Conservatism and providing this forum for pro-God, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-liberty activism. Your experience has got me convinced that Newt Gingrich is the man to bring defeat (and utterly humiliate) the Marxist now (temporarily) occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue! I think we can all get aboard!
Actually, my point was about the poster I responded to complaining that the questions he or she wanted asked, and were not.

What does any of that have to with Medi-Care? Selling insurance across state lines isn’t going to solve the problem that medical expenses are ever-increasing as people grow older, yet their ability to pay usually decreases.
We are fully into RINO-land nowadays, with a few exceptions, that are real longshots. Just like the MSM and Elite Beltway Establishment wanted it from the get-go.
God Bless those few who are staying in the race, despite the(ir) single digits and adherence to pure Constitutional and Tea Party principles.

I see that Jim has already answered you much, much better than I could, but I will tell you that I’m the one who used to call him Newt Samsonite Gingrich.
None of that matters to me anymore. We’re in the fight for our Republic against the evil Marxist and his corrupt administration, all of whom have to be thrown out out office and swept from the Department’s of Justice, State and Defense for starter’s!
I think Newt Gingrich is the best equipped to first stop Romney and then to defeat obama with no holds barred, plus he gets what this election is all about: a referendum on the Marxist and his failed policies.
If one of Gingrich’s rivals manages to win the nomination, other than Romney or Ron Paul, I will of course support that nominee, but I will be hoping and mightily praying that our nominee will have half the guts, half the knowledge and half the determination of Gingrich to take on the Marxist like he has to be taken on.
Gingrich is pro-life, and I trust him to nominate strict Constitutionalists to SCOTUS and to defend our nation against the Moselms that threaten us with nukes and our ally Israel.
ONWARD TO THE PRIMARIES WITH PRAYERS FOR ALL OF OUR *WORTHY* CANDIDATES!

This Medigap & Medicare stuff is exhausting. They set time limits on when you HAVE to get Medigap. They KNOW old people get sick, procrastinate, let stuff slide, get involved with their own elderly parents, grandchildren, and so forth, until before they know what hits them, their TIME IS UP to get Medigap. Then they have to pay a penalty for being “late”. Of course, the deductibles they have to pay are awful.
Then when I consider Senator Simpson’s health care plan; I’m even more aware of the inequities. I spent the day today lining up Medigap; even then I’ll have a 6 month waiting period on pre-existing conditions. Oh well, I never counted on getting by on my charm; unlike Senator Simpson and Nancy Pelosi.
As an aside; I don’t think I should get freebies; contrary to Senator Simpson’s ideas about how “greedy” I am. So far, Medicare hasn’t paid squat for me this year so far. Nor do I expect them to do so.
