Newest Cain Accuser Was Defendant in Libel Previous Suit and Lost

Ginger White, who today announced that she had a thirteen-year affair with Herman Cain, was the defendant in a libel suit this year. A judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff, Kimberly Bay, and stated that Ms. White had falsely libeled Ms. Bay. Ms. White reportedly lost the suit because she did not even bother responding to the case.

Ms. Bay had also sought a temporary stalking protective order against Ms. White, citing harassing emails, texts, and defamation of character. This case, however, was dismissed.

When asked about the libel suit in her interview with Fox Five, and why she should be trusted, Ms. White responded, "Well, because I admit it. Whatever happened with Kim and I, um, happened. Just as, what, what, there would make no sense to come out with these allegations against Herman if it absolutely wasn't true."

Not waiting for denial.

Waiting for PROOF.

Cain had some big things coming out today, the timing of this is way too suspect.

Somewhere somebody is bound and determined to stage a Soviet-Style Politburo “election” with only Party approved candidates on the ballot.

What is going on with these two women? The second woman has a very muscular body.

The stalking thing is just plain strange and the fact that Ginger White did not contest her partner’s lawsuit.

I think I've been open that I don't trust Herman Cain.

I think he is a phony.

I think he is not nearly as accomplished in his business career as he would have us believe...and all we know is what he has said.

Cain is not close to being experienced to be POTUS...not even VP or a cabinet position, IMO.

He doesn't accept responsibility... blames others for his shortcomings.

I'm sure I've missed something but I have never claimed to have respect for him and that was before the bimbo eruptions.

He hasn't impressed me with his answers in the debates.

I think he didn't expect to get this far...only got in it to raise his speaking fees.

I think he's been on an ego trip.

Ginger White, the 44 year old co- owner, is energized each day as she spearheads each session. One member commented: “Ginger never gets tired.” In a recent interview, she explained seven years ago she was diagnosed as having a mitral valve prolapse. Her diseased valve had an eighty percent leakage. Subsequently, she underwent opened heart surgery for a valve replacement. The surgery was successful because shortly afterwards, she resumed her cardio workouts as she had done all of her life. She believes healthy eating and regular exercise is the key to longevity and a healthy life. She says “it’s a two way street.” She admitted having tried various exercises such as, kickboxing, aerobics, to cycling. For nearly two years, she has been cycling and finds it to be “just the right fit.”

I am not yet a dedicated Cain supporter.

That said, I was accused of “impropriety” many years ago, when I was on our local school board, and had taken a position that a minority of liberal parents really didn’t like.

They got a waitress at a local restaurant to spread the rumor that I was having an affair with the Superintendant, and was seen having dinner with him at the restaurant where she worked (not exactly proof). The only time I had dinner at that particular restaurant was once, with my husband, daughter, and mother-in-law.

That didn’t matter, they all wanted to believe that they had the goods on me. It hurt my teenage children the most, even though the daughter knew it wasn’t true. Just having kids at school sniggering about it was what hurt the most.

There is no way to defend yourself if someone wants to spread malicious lies about you whether it be local or national. Those who know you will not believe, but those who have an agenda can do much to undermine one’s integrity on a policy position.

I wish I could write Mrs. Cain a letter, and tell her how sorry I am that she is having to go through this. And, the Cain children, too, for they can be hurt the most.

If anyone from the Cain campaign happens upon this note, please let them know that I am praying for them. I appreciate Herman Cain’s campaign, and wish him well.

I do not believe smears. My guess is that whoever is behind this figured that sexual harassment charge didn’t work, so now they are trying the old adulterer tactic. If Mr. Cain has made any mistake, it was being too pleasant and kind to a friend in financial distress.

A public figure, or one who wants to be, cannot afford to be personally charitable to every sad story that comes along.

Can anyone check this woman’s bank records to see if she has come into some money lately.

Of course, I could be wrong, but without hard proof, I can’t accept a “she said”. It is just too easy to make stuff up, and it is very hard to sue to get your good name back.

He's already denied it. Vociferously.

I'm really concerned about supposed conservatives failing to read the news carefully and just piling on with these accusations.

None of us know what really happened, but consider this possibility:

The Democrats know that accusations of sexual misconduct are irrelevant to their candidates, but will sink a Republican candidate.

Hence the slimy rumors about Sarah Palin, including that Trig wasn't her child, affair with black basketball player, etc. etc. It worked from their point of view - she's out.

Since it worked to knock her out of the race (in their minds), why wouldn't they try it again? There's no down side for them, because Clinton and Barney Frank and others have been given a complete pass. And because Democrats think in these terms and think that Republicans are sheet-wearing, cross-burning racists, a parade of white women claiming that a . . . gasp . . . black man took advantage of them is (in their minds) a very effective attack. In fact, the very luridness of the accusations sends up a red flag to me -- it all seems a little too theatrical.

One thing the accusers seem to have in common so far is a history of questionable conduct and financial problems. A promise of 15 minutes of fame and a possible book deal, or even "covering your expenses", might look pretty good to a person with no morals and no prospects, with the rent coming due. Contrast that with a man who apparently has had a good reputation up until now.

It fits the facts as we know them, and until we know differently I see no reason to let the news media and the Democrats choose our candidate for us.

There's also the absolute certainty that, whoever the eventual Republican nominee is, they will come after him with more of the same. Especially if it works with Cain.

Then you don’t know him AT ALL.

Many of us on FR do know Herman Cain and know these accusations could not be further from the truth. Your distrust of him colors every judgment you make of him. It is shameful.

I feel sorry for people like you.

And, hey, did Karl Rove give her that pearl necklace? I think she stole it from Barbara Bush.

Karl Rove gave that woman a pearl necklace? I don't think that is a film I would like to see

That’s right.

How many accusations can they organize against Cain, before they start to lose impact. Soon they become empty echoes of nothingness.

It’s fine to not like Cain. It is fine to push an agenda here on FR or on any other message boards.

As someone who likes Cain among 3 candidates, I find this story somewhat suspect but somewhat troubling.

However, I find your arguments to be childish and void of any intellectual heft whatsoever.

Translation: what you say don’t mean sh-t, in case that was over your head.

They keep coming after Cain because he is still alive in the polls. This makes me sick. Couple this with the allegations made in the books written by Abramoff and Swietzer and like the title says throw them all out. Our government is corrupt to the core!
