Today at a labor rally in Detroit, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa Jr. declared war on the Tea Party and rallied the crowd to “take the son’s of b#$%$$ out.” He implored the President to use his vast resources and that the unions were Mr. Obama’s “army” and that they were “ready to march”.
It is unclear if Mr. Hoffa was calling for violence against those that believe in free market labor or the Tea Party, but using the standard much of the press applies to the Tea Party one could only assume that Mr. Hoffa was calling for armed resistance and targeted killings.
Alright, alright, Jimmy Hoffa Jr. was not calling for blood in the streets, but his rhetoric will surely be worrisome to many. It hasn’t been a year since Gabrielle Giffords was shot and the media attacked Sarah Palin for using targets in a campaign ad for Congressional candidates her PAC backed in 2010. Where is the new era of civility that the Democrats called for? Or will that idea be pushed aside like “PAYGO” was once the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress and the Presidency? In this instance Obama looks to be headed for defeat next November. Perhaps the rules of civility aren’t that important when your guy is threatened? If the media at large doesn’t pick up the ball on this one, I’ll assume that is the case.
The President addressed the crowd shortly after Mr. Hoffa, tellingly he didn’t talk about toning down the rhetoric this time.

I guess we now know what he was talking about.
I always look for the union label. If I see it, I buy something else, even if it’s made overseas.
Believe me,they are far better organized and can count on the unionized LEOs to support them. The days of hardhat patriotism when I marched with my dad down Broadway are as extinct as that rare creature,a patriotic Dem. Violence is coming in 2012!

Actually, a lot of union rank and file types ARE armed. They are just too stupid to realize that the unions are anathema to their freedom and well being.
And I fully believe many of the jugheaded morons will do whatever their union says. Yes, including taking up arms against the rest of us.
I suspect things may get very ugly, very bloody and very bad.

I tried starting a thread asking FReepers to post all of the known NON-union businesses, but the AM removed it after the 3rd post.

You know it. When it all comes down, I'm cautiously optimistic that more than half of the military will side with the folks who seek freedom from tyranny.
But the cops? The cops are just not going to be on our side. I'd guess 5-10% at most would act like patriots.

That’s why I wrote two books, “Going Galt” and “Surviving Civil War II”. Our best offense is to withdraw support and taxes from the system (legally I add). It will be a long cold civil war, you have to be able to survive it first. I think we can win, but you can’t do it flailing about.
Our best weapon is to let the ponderous system collapse, it is already auguring in. Then pick up the pieces.
