The Associated Press in a story posted on Yahoo News today headlined “Bernanke urges GOP to support raising debt ceiling”
Look this is not that complicated for those who have and are willing to use just a little of the common sense that GOD has given them. Raising the debt ceiling will do nothing without cutting and I mean real cutting. If all we do is raise the limits all we are doing is kicking the can down the road and putting our children’s future at more risk.
If I was irresponsible and continually over spent and kept going to the back for more money the back would throw me out and say change my habits and they would be right to do so.
These elected officials think that its fine to give money freely to China in the form of aide and then let china buy our debt and own our nation? This is truly a land of idiots and this thinking is dangerous to our nation.

None of my remarks on this topic are directed at FReeper readers of the thread.
My remarks are directed at the blogpimp, that he may know he's not fooling anyone and should stop trying.
If we let FR become a dumping ground for blog links then the site will suffer.
This current article - for instance - looks like it might be a good one: but I can’t really tell. Why? Because it’s not actually been posted, just excerpted.
There’s no need to excerpt this article - so why not post the whole thing?
HotAir, SteynOnLine etc - we’re happy to visit these sites because we know we will find quality at the other end.
However we don’t extend this courtesy to every blogger. There are millions of blogs out there, and - frankly - they are not all winners. Let them prove themselves worthy of our time.

I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR.
If a blogger can’t or refuses do that, and if he constantly complains or fights with our participants over it, then I’d just as soon he doesn’t post here. It’s not my job to make his content or his presentation or cooperation acceptable to our readers. That’s his job. And if he cannot do it or refuses to do it and continues posting brief excerpts only and obviously attempting to draw away our participants while loudly complaining about it, then I have no sympathy for his complaints and the more apt I am to ban his account and blog.
How is your criticizing humblegunner’s post any different than his?
The only muck in this thread is in the OP. The gentleman needs a proofreader in the worst possible way.
Sloppy grammar means sloppy thinking, and clicking on a link that started out that badly would never occur to me.
