The mark of any successful political venture by Governor Palin often results a misrepresentation of her words that only leaves the media with egg on their faces. Governor Palins bus tour has been successful in allowing her to highlight the greatness of the history of America, meet everyday Americans and fellow politicians, and share her policy stances on everything from fishing regulations in New Hampshire to ethanol subsidies to the debt ceiling. Such successes leaves the media grasping at proverbial bendy straws. Todays news is no different. Poised with the opportunity to more appropriately address political stories essentially pre-written for them, such as abysmal jobs numbers under the Obama administration or the newest report that the federal government lends financial aid to the very same countries from whom they borrow , the media have chosen to focus more on their own historical ignorance by creating a story out of a non-story and misportraying Governor Palins comments on Paul Revere yesterday:

They don’t look like fools to the fools that watch NBC news. Who’s going to reach those viewers with a correction? To them Palin remains an idiot.
I’m afraid that the only one that can do that is Sarah herself with her common sense solutions and plans.
And then some will just NEVER get it. That’s their loss, because
the rest of the country will.
If she depended on the press for positive feedback, she would be home knitting sox. :)
Exactly
Same as 'I can see Russia from my porch....'
FR heresy! /sarc. I don’t know. I can’t see into the mind/soul of anyone so I won’t pretend to know people’s thoughts. Whether she was tired and mispoke or was talking about Revere’s words when he was being interrogated I don’t know. Either way I don’t think she was a moron and we’re all human. I actually respect Herman Cain all the more since he freely admits when he messes up.
I observed a Wood at a Small distance, & made for that. When I got there, out Started Six officers, on Horse back, and orderd me to dismount;-one of them, who appeared to have the command, examined me, where I came from,& what my Name Was? I told him. it was Revere, he asked if it was Paul? I told him yes He asked me if I was an express? I answered in the afirmative. He demanded what time I left Boston? I told him; and aded, that their troops had catched aground in passing the River, and that There would be five hundred Americans there in a short time, for I had alarmed the Country all the way up...
It's highly doubtful that Palin even knew about this. She was fumbling and stumbling and just got lucky.
However, for those of you who actually do believe she knew what she was talking about, this is for you:
LOL. Very funny.
How’d I know he was gonna eat ZOT before they turned his lights off?
Paul Revere did indeed warn the British when he was captured by them. Palin did NOT misspeak.
I find that the word warned can be taken if a different way, unless the whole context is read. At first it might look, when under the duress of Major Mitchel of the British 5th regiment, Paul Revere gave them information they should not have had. Not so.
With a pistol pointed at his head and a threat to "blow your brains out", if not telling the truth, Revere possibly increased the size of the local patriots. This being 500 strong. His warning was that large numbers of people were ready and waiting for Mitchel and his red coats.
Sarah Palin was right of course. I was a little concerned that the wear and tear of the trip might be telling on her. I hope not.
Of course she was and it wouldnt surprise me at all if she did it on purpose to be able to say later in her speeches that the media either so hates her or are so uneducated that they are not to be trusted. I think she is setting them up so that the public knows not to rely on them.
I hate to have to diss Illinois, you have enough problems, but Lincoln was born in Kentucky and you know about Obama.
Another moronic troll heard from!
