True - Churchill's father was the 7th Duke's third son.

Btw, Churchill wrote a splendid biography of his ancestor the first Duke. He had silly hair but he was a great man.

i did like the kneecaps fact. I did not know that!

BUT, people are currently domesticating the fox. No, they are not dogs or wolves so it does count as a ‘new’ domestic animal.
