Sarah Palin came out swinging tonight, saying that Newt should stand behind his words and not apologize no matter what the media says about it. She even noted that he wouldnt have apologized if the media hadnt gotten in a huff about what he said.
Also, she indicated that she is still seriously considering a run in 2012, but she is still looking at the field. What I liked about her comments was that she noted that her running for President would be about fighting the left and fighting for the country, not being in the limelight for the punditry class.

Is that really necessary?
Low life try huh? Tells all one needs to know about you.
It's interesting reading all of the armchair “political consultants” try to direct Governor Palin down the path of destruction.
“Sarah Palin is a brilliant strategist.”
You betcha!
But AbC said she defended him
Just watched the videos of Hannity interview of Sarah Palin.
She is just great. Every time I hear her I am more impressed
by her talent and thinking. We need her but she says she wants to see another candidate show up that is up to the job
but there is no one who can compare with her. So she will run and win because she knows our country needs her.
Senator Richard “Dick” Lugar (R-IN). He is the most senior Republican Senator, in office since 1977.
Um, a gentleman named Ronald Reagan ignored that advice, didn't announce for the 1980 campaign until November of 1979, and things worked out pretty well for him.
bttt
A leader chooses his or her own time, rather than responding to bells being rung by others.
As for me, I predict that she is running, has already decided to run, and that her announcement will come on or about August 14 (most likely: Mon. Aug 15, as she promised to make her announcement, if any, on a local radio show in Alaska) to occur after the Iowa straw poll on the 13th. Unless she is going to try to win the straw poll, in which case I expect the official announcement on Fri, Aug. 12.
The reason I lean toward after the straw poll is that I think she's not going to want to rely on Iowa too much, as I can't see her buying into the ethanol folly.
Even then, Romney can't. He takes away all of the main ammo against Obama with RomneyCare, especially after doubling down on that loser.
I liked that AGAIN, she did not have any positives for the other also rans, such as MB etc, I found that encouraging, though it`s going to be quite a wait yet.
I predict that reports are true that MB will announce very shortly, and the MSM/FOX/POLLSTERS will really push MB. They want to continue to say that MB has passed Sarah in popularity, this is their main cause in life. I just hope people do not buy into it!

Yes.
But try to think of which GOP candidate the media WOULD like. Everyone thought that John McCain would be liked by the media during the election, but as soon as he was the candidate they proceeded to tear him apart.
The media is going to hate any GOP candidate. The harder they try means the more they are scared.
Let's see, if one takes Mrs Palin at her word one is branded a 'mindreader'. Yet if one goes against her word and asserts that she has been/is running then one is 'wise' and 'prescient'.
Remember, if she jumps in too early, the media will run it 24x7. There is a popularity peak curve that needs to be timed to coincide with the various Primaries.
It is STILL too early for candidates to be declaring. Look what happened to Newt and Donald already.
I never usually watch fox news but I happened to see Sarah last night. I love what she said. She is in it for the right reasons. Unless someone else can fight the media and the leftists the way they should be fought, she will run. GD bless her.
Now I have a mental disorder. Fantastic.
I like Sarah Palin and would certainly vote for her over any candidate outside of Herman Cain or Allen West at this point. That shouldn’t mean she is above being criticized or vetted during a primary process, and fundraising dollars will matter. The longer she waits, the less money she can raise.
