The White House has just released this photo of President Obama and other top administration officials watching the live video of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
Now...With what I said above. I will also add, compared to GWB, Obama does look small, in terms of being CinC and leading the men in this room with confidence...
Zero’s really bummed out about the whole thing, obviously.
This Picture is amazing. Obama looks so un-presidential its stunning.
He looks like a sulking teenager being forced into something he wants no truck with!
The one with the glasses on is Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff Adm. Mullen.
The only one in the photo who looks a least a bit presidential is the man in the center with the suit.
Obongo looks like a delivery boy who came by with coffee amd sanwitches and was invited to stay.
I agree with you. Look, one helicopter failed during the mission so the Seals ended up destroying that one. Luckily, that was the only thing that went wrong with the mission. It could had been a Black Hawk scenario where a bunch of Seals are holed in the Compound for many hours while waiting for Marine reinforcements from Afghanistan to fly in and rescue them....if they could survive that long and they can't count on local Pakistani Soldiers for help.
Barack: Ya... Blood.
Joe: !BLOOD?!
I am not sure about that But I am fairly sure the White Wall behind him was photoshopped in.
You are correct, if the below is correct.
Did SR Military/Intel Officials Overrule President Obama on Mission to Kill Bin Laden?

RE Osama Bin Laden. Significant push to take him out months ago. Senior WH staff resisted. This was cause of much strain between HC and Obama/Jarrett. HC and LP were in constant communication over matter both attempted to convince administration to act. Administration feared failure and resulting negative impact on president. Intel disgusted over politics over national security. Staff resigned/left. Check timeline to corroborate.
IMPORTANT SPECIFIC: When 48 hour go order issued, CoC was told, not requested. Administration scrambled to abort. That order was overruled. This order did not originate from CoC. Repeat this order did not originate from CoC. He complied, but did not originate.

He has 4 stars. There is only one 4-star Admiral in the Navy currently, the head of Special Forces:
William H. McRaven, USN is the commander of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
“Obama has been CIC for over 2 years and his administration has been executing the war on terror, for better or worse. As much as it may be painful for you to admit, Obama gets a great deal of credit for authorizing the raid that got Bin Laden. Accept it.”

Or NOT...

Did Senior Military/Intelligence Officials Overrule President Obama Regarding Mission to Kill Osama Bin Laden?
by Ulsterman in Issues, May 2, 2011
A reluctant American president who was ultimately overridden by senior military and intelligence officials to finally take out terrorist Osama Bin Laden
Note: This communication came from our long time D.C. Insider and details previous and ongoing conflicts surrounding the decision to assassinate terrorist Osama Bin Laden. This has been reproduced here as originally communicated to us.
Wouldn’t surprise me, is there another source for this information?
Vwey interesting! Thanks for the link!
bttt
Uh, no he wouldn't. If the mission didn't succeed, the American public may never have heard of it.
Thanks for the cheat sheet!
