The lone Republican in the Hawaii State Senate told a radio interviewer today he believes "the real issue" stopping Barack Obama from releasing his long-form birth certificate is something the president has to hide, perhaps even the name of his actual birth father.
Hawaii State Sen. Sam Slom further told the host of "Aaron Klein Investigative Radio" on WABC 770 AM in New York City that so long as Obama refuses to be transparent about his past, questions about the president's birth remain "a legitimate issue."
"My particular point of view – and why I haven't identified myself as a 'birther,' per se – is that [Obama] probably was born [in Hawaii] and that the real issue is not the birth certificate, but what's on the birth certificate," Slom told Klein.
Asked what that could be, Slom said, "It could have to do with what his name is on the birth certificate, who is actually listed as his father, the citizenship of the father."
He continued, "My belief is that there is a birth certificate, he was born here, but that there is information that for reasons known only to him he doesn't want released. If it were just the birth certificate, that would be one thing, but it's his school records, it's employment records. … Why would anybody, let alone the president of the United States, spend millions of dollars in legal fees to keep that hidden?"

Hospital after hospital in Honolulu all have NO RECORD of Obama or mother ever being there. Is this some state secret? Are we to believe that even the hospital that he was born in should remain secret? Why the lies and secrecy?
All of these hospitals were called or visited from November 20 – December 2nd 2008. It is confirmed, OBAMA was not born in any hospital in Honolulu County! NONE, AS A FACT!
Hospital employees were bribed, some gave info for free.

Only his original that he has sealed will have this info. Will the Supreme Court force it open and thus preserve the Constitution of the United States?

(NOTE: Now to your point-—IF Obama WAS born in an Honolulu hospital, don’t you think it would be a very serviceable thing (not to mention honorable) to tell the hospital to graciously confirm to the American people that he serves, that he was indeed born in one of them?)
I can see a mother pretending that her teenaged daughter’s baby was really her own so as to save her daughter’s reputation and allow her to go to school, etc., but what kind of woman would have a child of another race out of wedlock and say that her teenaged daughter was the mother?
Yes, it is odd that Stanley Ann Dunham would be off to college in Seattle just a couple of weeks after giving birth to a baby in Hawaii. But wouldn’t this be likelier to be evidence of Obama being born on an earlier date than August 4? Or maybe that he was born closer to Seattle? (Proving that the Obama birth story has more twists and turns than anything Shakespeare could come up with, his mother’s aunt and uncle lived in a town in northern Washington State, with half the town across the Canadian border, and the only hospital in town was on the Canadian side of the border.)

I'll throw my likely scenario out there - Frank "Pop" Marshall is the baby daddy - The grandparents were swingers and grandma got knocked up. Stanley Ann is actually the president's sister. Now just think about the abandonment by Stanley Ann of little Stevie back in Hawaii with grandparents - nothing unnatural about that because Stanley Ann had a falling out with her parents and said " Well, damn you, take back your kid, then"

You’re saying a hospital can publicly affirm a person was born there, and that they cannot publicly affirm the same person was born there. This is what happened. Kapiolani publicly affirmed for 6 mos, in many different ways, that Obama was born there. Now you’re saying they can’t do what they did on acct of Hippo. There is however contradictory evidence as to what grade he was in while living in Hawaii as a child, verses what age he supposedly moved to Indonesia.

He says that he thinks Obama was born in Hawaii but the BC has a different father listed.

Well, excuse me Sir, the COLB says that the father is BO Sr. How could the long form be different if the COLB was released by Hawaii?
