Ann Coulter was being interviewed by Sean Hannity last night and she succinctly laid out the case against Trump and this resurgent interest in an Obama birth certificate. I've always thought this story was crap from day one. First, as Ann Coulter points out there is fundamentally no difference between the long form birth certificate and short form. They are both certified.
Personally, I think the Obama team is loving the attention being given to it because it gives them an opportunity to force each prospective GOP candidate for President to answer the question and take away vital time from important issues like oh.....the economy,gas prices,the national debt, etc. Trump is making a fool of himself and risks everyone being tarred with his foolishness. To all the "birthers", I ask this: Do you really think ruthless characters like Bill and Hillary Clinton could not have found the evidence and used it against him? The Clinton's of "war room" politics? Those liberal versions of Nixonian politics and paranoia?
If not the Clinton's then how about conservative iconic publications like "Human Events" and "The American Spectator" as Ann Coulter pointed out. I loathe and utterly detest conspiracy theories as they are the product of irrational supposition from incomplete portraits suggesting an inability to differentiate chance and order. The notion that everything is the product of planning is absurd.
The absurdity of this crackpot theory is rooted in the bizarre notion that the infant Obama was identified at birth as a future President and an intense cover up was implemented to shield the truth. All this over a man no one had ever heard of as recent as 2004 before his keynote address at the DNC. John Kerry chose him to deliver the speech, so maybe he was in on the plot, huh?
It's time to stop with the irrational and ignore desperate pleas for attention from media whores like Donald Trump. Our stake in the future of the nation is too important to waste placating the vanity of a man who will leave egg on all our faces. Fundamentally it matters not. If BHO1 is the baby-daddy, and if BHO1 was British subject, fundamentally it doesn't matter if it is the long form, short form, or done in crayon - Barry would NOT be an NBC, thus fundamentally not eligible. Fundamentally, Ann Coulter is fundamentally missing the fundamental point of the exercise of the fundamental definition of NBC.

Since my born-on date is less than impressive (and there is a certain status given to tenure in this venue), my opinion about the zotworthiness of the poster likely lacks gravitas. What's noteworthy about kevinaw2 is that the post is intentionally inflammatory and there's no followup in the ensuing discussion. In fact all 6 posts since Kevin joined follow this hit and run pattern.
If he were willing to engage in conversation and participate in a reasonable give and take, some consideration might be in order. But, being what it is...

Really? So "if Obama were proven ineligible today," how could he possibly remain in office? Prove is the operative word. There is no way he could stay in office or appear on the ballot in 2012. The legal challenges would be immense right from the point he was "proven to be ineligible." All of the laws and executive orders he signed would face legal challenges. There would be a consititutional crisis. And there is no way he would be certified to appear on the ballot let alone be nominated by the Dems "if he were proven to be ineligible."
The idea that nothing would change is ludicrous.
The comment was mine but at 47 years old I have a pretty good idea of how things would play out in Washington. A year of congressional fighting at least and a backroom deal.
At best, Obama wouldn’t run again but I’m not sure he can get elected again anyway if we have a decent candidate.

Our country is in a full speed destructive mode because of the lack of honor & integrity of our leaders & govt representatives, and just as important, their lack of knowledge of the US Constitution and what those Articles in it mean as well as American history.
I have spent the last 3 years doing indepth research & study of the Constitution, especially Article II qualifications, the 14th Amendment & its sister Act, the Expatriation Act. US citizenship is precious and our leaders are giving it away like penny candy. But more importantly, in a this age of deceit & George Soros, the leftist marxist socialist communists need to destroy the definition of "sovereign US citizen" so that their definition of "global, no-borders subjectship", where the only rights we will have is what the elite are willing to give us, can fully emerge.
They nearly have common citizenship destroyed & now they are going after the White House and they thus far, with the help of the lame stream media", may have forever set a dangerous precedent for presidential qualifications unless we pull the rudder & reverse course immediately.

Until just recently when Obama announced his 2012 campaign bid, his FTS (fight the smears) campaign website stated:
“As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.”

With that said...why did Obama feel compelled to state that his birth status was governed by the British Nationality Act of 1948 rather than citing the United States Constitution & the 14th Amendment? He is after all, a constitutional scholar is he not? How many people know that it is the US Govt & White House policy that dual citizenship is forbidden but especially in the Executive Branch, even for the lowliest file clerk? How many people know that dual citizenship is not law? That dual citizenship is in fact, unconstitutional. Therefore, the US State Dept can not guarantee protection to dual citizens when they are in foreign countries, especially the countries they claim to be also citizens of and this is why the US State Dept has warnings about this in several locations on their website.

This is the "Law of Nature & of Nature's God" that is stated in the Declaration of Independence. A child can not be made an alien to their parents lest he be made a slave to man. They are under the tuition of the parents (parens patriae) until they reach the age of consent and choose for themselves what nation/government they will attach their allegiance to. And don't get me started on the destruction of the family as "One Unit" that began with the marxist feminist movement.
The US Constitution does not recognize slavery. In fact it does the opposite and refutes it when it refers to representation in Article I. The slave states were constitutionally confined to a smaller representation as those states did not recognize their salves as persons, but rather property. The only way for a state to gain full representation in the US Congress was to free the slaves and recognize them as the free & equal persons they are under the "Laws of Nature & of Nature's God" as stated in the Declaration of Independence.
We are slaves only to God, not to man.

George Washington in his farewell address stated:

But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed. Foreign influence, especially emotional influence that stems from an immediate familial foreign source, in a US president, is to be avoided at all cost and thus the reason for the president to be a "natural born" citizen. Natural born means exclusive allegiance to the United States at birth, the same as it is for immigrants upon taking the oath at the time of naturalization. "Subject to the jurisdiction", as found in the 14th Amendment, has nothing to do with soil, it has to do with political allegiance; where one holds his political rights. Where one's permanent domicile is & where he takes part in those political rights. That is why up until the late 70's, when the Supreme Court legislated from the bench, voting in a foreign country was grounds for immediately losing ones US citizenship.
My research is extensive & grounded with historical evidence dated from our founding era to date. It is not personal supposition as many have been posting all over the internet, especially by those with some sort of law degree. The true law & its rich history must be exposed and I believe it will be at the state levels where it gets it foothold. We owe this to our Posterity, to our fine men & women in uniform & to the preservation of our society that the founding generations shed their blood for.

That's a crock of b/s. The issue revolves about at least two things. First, that Obama has hidden or destroyed all of his early records. I myself would love to see his long form birth certificate and all of his official records and his family's official records regarding foreign travel, passports, marriage, divorce, adoption, citizenship, school records especially foreign school records, degrees, law licenses, employment record, arrest record, selective service record, naturalization, citizenship, or repatriation records, communist party cards, etc., etc., etc. And second, his father was a foreign citizen and a communist to boot and Obama himself may possess dual citizenship. There is definitely a chance that he is a citizen but not a "Natural Born Citizen" per the U.S. Constitution. There is a difference. And there is definitely some doubt about his real or adopted names. Why is all of this official information being hidden from us by the President of the United States and his sycophants in the mainstream media?
