Ann Coulter was being interviewed by Sean Hannity last night and she succinctly laid out the case against Trump and this resurgent interest in an Obama birth certificate. I've always thought this story was crap from day one. First, as Ann Coulter points out there is fundamentally no difference between the long form birth certificate and short form. They are both certified.
Personally, I think the Obama team is loving the attention being given to it because it gives them an opportunity to force each prospective GOP candidate for President to answer the question and take away vital time from important issues like oh.....the economy,gas prices,the national debt, etc. Trump is making a fool of himself and risks everyone being tarred with his foolishness. To all the "birthers", I ask this: Do you really think ruthless characters like Bill and Hillary Clinton could not have found the evidence and used it against him? The Clinton's of "war room" politics? Those liberal versions of Nixonian politics and paranoia?
If not the Clinton's then how about conservative iconic publications like "Human Events" and "The American Spectator" as Ann Coulter pointed out. I loathe and utterly detest conspiracy theories as they are the product of irrational supposition from incomplete portraits suggesting an inability to differentiate chance and order. The notion that everything is the product of planning is absurd.
The absurdity of this crackpot theory is rooted in the bizarre notion that the infant Obama was identified at birth as a future President and an intense cover up was implemented to shield the truth. All this over a man no one had ever heard of as recent as 2004 before his keynote address at the DNC. John Kerry chose him to deliver the speech, so maybe he was in on the plot, huh?
It's time to stop with the irrational and ignore desperate pleas for attention from media whores like Donald Trump. Our stake in the future of the nation is too important to waste placating the vanity of a man who will leave egg on all our faces. I’ve posted this on other threads but... my BIL is a Honolulu native and went to Punahou. A bit younger than BO but that’s one of those schools with a lot of grades (not just a straight high school, for example).
He never heard of the big hotshot basketball player then, and can’t find any photos of him in the yearbook now. And my BIL is more or less apolitical, not really lib or conserv.
I’ve heard from others that no one seems to have really known BO at Punahou. Perhaps some “friends” they manufactured later, but not at the time.
Does it do that with all possible handles?
I know that I had a doppleganger during the tubgirl troll annoyance, and he really IS banned or suspended.

I too find it interesting that nobody remembers the guy, not can any pperwork be provided on him.
College transcripts seem to be missing, nobody remembers being in class with mister lip buster.
I’m pretty certain that he’d be memorable.
Clearly, obama has his secrets. But, Bill and Hill have a long, wide trail leading to, through and away from the WH, with a lot of bodies buried by the side of that trail and a lot of grave diggers to help with the clean up.

Perhaps this has been addressed already, however my quick scan of this thread did not reveal same.
The information in a COLB is, as a practical matter, meaningless.
The reason is that there are three (3) levels of information at least in the HI birth records, including original registraation info, the INDEX of data extracted, and the info requested and issued in a COLB.
There are multiple and myriad ways that the original registration information may have been filed. From a standard hospital birth affirmation, to legally allowed “late registrations” “registrations of foreign born children of Hawaii citizens” amendments and alterations of existing birth records, including to modify the existing record for ADOPTION which may include changing the fathers name on the original record. In consequence of many of these variations, the original records may be SEALED and not thereafter subject to review at all. Information on the COLB from the INDEX may not match in many instances the original registration information. Some original registrations do not require any third party verification but may be made on statement by a parent or other applying person, and if at all may be based on nothing other than a family bible entry.
But the most intriquing example of how a birth registration may have been made in Hawaii prior to 1972, is via a late birth registration (subject to later change or amendment) which at that time could be made solely at the discretion of the director of health on affidavit of a parent, possible without any other confirming information. See: Hawaii code of regulations Public Health Regulations Chapter 8 former section 14. “Delayed Birth Registration” (”..additional evidence MAY be required”).
Whatever statutory legal presumptions may apply to a COLB under Hawaii law the simple truth is that due to the wide variety of manner and circumstances of registration, past lax evidentiary standards, potential for amendment and alteration such as by adoption, potential sealing of original records..and a COLB based only on Indexed data reflecting the revisions and nothing else.
A significant factor in continuing doubt as to Obama’s progeny is the unusual circumstance of no physician or hospital taking credit or being unequivocally named by Obama as his birthplace.

Ah no...but Hawaii had very liberal requirements for citizenship and someone born outside of the country could easily claim they were born in Hawaii....why? To get the advantages of American citizenship. But that's not good enough to be President.

My thought on that is that it was a case of mutually assured destruction. Hillary and Bill most definitely have the goods on Obama, but Obama has the goods on Hillary as well.
Sure, she could have taken him out, but absent the power and protection of Bubba’s incumbency Hillary is a lot softer target — and there are a lot of former Clinton fans now in the Obama camp that KNOW where the “bodies are buried”.
Has anyone really forgotten all the scandals of the Clinton years? Is there any doubt in anyone’s mind that there are not a few more?
